The GripTight PRO TelePod from Joby is a telescoping tripod designed for smartphones, mirrorless cameras, point & shoot cameras, 360° cameras, action cameras, and GripTight phone/tablet mounts or video lights. With a telescoping distance of 13.5 to 31", this handheld tripod/vlogging stick supports devices up to 2.2 lb using a 1/4"-20 connection and provides four operational modes for increased versatility, including Hand Grip, Extended Grip, Elevated Grip, and Tabletop Tripod. For greater stability on uneven surfaces or in high winds, the legs click-set into three positions or flatten completely. Included are a Cold Shoe PRO mount, a pin joint mount, and a long thumbscrew. So that shots may be captured from a distance, a Bluetooth Impulse remote shutter is also included.

With it fully extended, the tripod is sturdy enough to stand on his own. We are planning to use it for vlogging during camping, the holes on the tripod makes it easier to peg the tripod with camping stakes and ropes. By twisting to lock/unlock the center pole, it makes it very easy to extend the pole. The Bluetooth control is just a button to press the Volume Up key. Takes a few second to connect after idling for a while. The GripTight Pro 2 is also very easy to operate and extensible by other Joby arms. The downside is this tripod is pretty long and big. It will fit in a backpack, but not in a hand bag, considering the GripTight Pro 2 also takes up considerable space. 5

I purchased the TelePod to facilitate my making music/guitar instructional videos with my iPhone. It works great, doing just what I had hoped it would do. Even though its light, Its quite stable, and it holds my phone very securely. I sit while doing the videos, so its high enough when fully extended. If I stood in my videos, or if I made them outdoors, a bigger, heavier tripod may have been a better choice - but for what Im doing its perfect. I like the Bluetooth remote shutter, too. Im really glad I chose this product. 5

While it's kind of expensive for what it is. The pull and twist design is quick to extend. Another great feature is the tripod grip. Def will not slip from your hand even if you get it wet. 5

Joby has done it again. It's clear that they made this product with a lot of thoughtfulness, care and attention-to-detail. My favorite parts include the metal shoe mount which allows me to flip my phone horizontally or vertically, the bluetooth clicker which lets me film from afar, and who couldn't love the versatility of the pole that doubles as both a tripod and selfie stick. 5
