Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this easel hold 8x10" paper? Or just 11x14"?

A: Yes. 11 x 14" is just the maximum print size.

Q: 2. Will it fit on my Beseler 23C ii? And with 6x7 negatives?

A: Yes but you would need this lens board too: https://bhpho.to/2M0JLV7

Q: 3. Do you use this with fiber paper? How's it handle the curl?

A: This can be used with fiber paper, which would only curl if moisture is introduced to the paper, such as when it's been developed.

Q: 4. Hi, can I get.6x7 coverage on a Fuji GFX50r (with adapter)?

A: The maximum film format for the Rodenstock 75mm f/4 APO-Rodagon D Enlarging Lens is 6 x 6 cm. With the FUJIFILM GFX 50R Medium Format Mirrorless Camera having a sensor size of 43.8 x 32.9mm, there is no way to get full 6 x 7 cm reproduction with this combination.

Q: 5. will this easel hold 11x14 paper? thanks

A: Yes; the maximum print size that may be held by the Beseler 11x14 Universal 4-Bladed Enlarging Easel would be an 11x14 paper print.

Q: 6. are there perforated holes in the back so it can be hung on a wall?

A: Yes, the MCS Box Frame - 8x10" comes with perforated holes so you may hang the frame.

Q: 7. What size Beseler lens do I need to enlarge to 11 x 14" BW prints?

A: The question would depend on the size of the negative you will be using to create the print, not the print size you wish to make. The height of your enlarger head will determine the size of the print you may create. Ideally, your enlarging lens' focal length should be equal to or greater than the diagonal of your film format measured in millimeters. (Back to high school math, you have to find the hypotenuse of your film; that a² + b² = c² equation, solving for c.) As an example, a 35mm negative measures 36x24mm in size. As such, the hypotenuse would be 43.27mm. So a 50mm enlarging lens (the next popular lens size above 43mm) would cover the full 35mm negative. For 120 6x4.5cm negatives, a 75mm lens (or larger) would be recommended. For 120 6x7cm negatives, a 105mm lens (or larger) would be recommended. An enlarging lens that is smaller than the diagonal of your film will allow you to crop in to a smaller area on your negative.

Q: 8. Is it new easel? or pre-owned?

A: Beseler 16x20" Universal 4-Bladed Enlarging Easel is a new easel.

Q: 9. Will this work on beaker 23cIIIxl

A: To mount the Rodenstock 50mm f/2.8 Rodagon Enlarging Lens on the Beseler 23CIII-XL Condenser Enlarger (230V), the Beseler 39mm Lensboard with Counterbore on Face (For 50-60mm Lenses), BH #BELB39FCB23, and the Beseler 39mm Threaded Lock Ring, BH #BEJN, is required.

Q: 10. Will it work for Beseler Printmaker 67 (Black and White)? What other accessories do I need to make it works for Beseler Printmaker 67?

A: Yes, it will work with the Printmaker 67. You will also need a lens board, click the link below to view; https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/15666-REG/Delta_13315_Bes_Board_2_5_8_X2_5_8_Lens_Board.html

I needed something that allows me to develop sheets of 5x7 film, either single sheets or stacks of six sheets that can be shuffled with a consistent technique.
