Horseman has designed a complete 6x12 system in their SW-612, pairing six exceptional Rodenstock lenses (ranging from 35mm to 135mm) with their own fine roll film backs (available in three formats) and an accurate, bright viewfinder.  The result is a supremely professional batteryless system camera, rugged and travellable with image quality that is enviable from even the best of digital cameras.

The stout body is designed with rubber grips, two camera strap lugs and a built-in spirit level.  An optional lens guard mounts under the camera, while the finder with interchangeable masks mounts on the top-mounted "cold" accessory shoe.

Horseman's 120 roll film holders mate perfectly to the back of the camera, offering a choice of 6x7, 6x9, or 6x12 cm formats and an optional ground glass back for precise composition.  Both the focusing scales and the spirit level are visible through the viewfinder.

Other accessories include a neckstrap and center neutral density filter to even out the exposure with wide angle lenses.

A: The Horseman LD Pro View Camera works with many digital backs. To use it you need to purchase the correct camera back adapter that matches the digital back you have. The adapters we carry at this time for Hasselblad V and H mount. The links for those are a href= http://bhpho.to/18fqXba target= _blank http://bhpho.to/18fqXba/a and a href= http://bhpho.to/1L2Wtec. target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1L2Wtec./a There is a Mamiya 654 adapter back adapter but we do not carry that one at this time. The MFR # is 23693.

I've been shooting since the late 60's, and have owned every film format from a 5 x 7 Deardorff down to the Minolta Minox-knock-off. Almost all digital for the past 20 years, the last 12 with Fuji; ever since the X-Pro came out.

This camera is a remarkable achievement: just a few years ago, a body with a sensor that delivered what this one does would have been many times the cost. And the in body stabilization is very good. With this much resolution, that becomes very important.

I didn't think I'd get along as well with the PASM style controls (the separate controls on the X-Pro were a major reason I was attracted to it) but after a few months, I've got all the body memory down, knowing where to press to get a button to switch what I want—and I do really appreciate the always on e-ink info screen on the top.

The lenses are large—this comes with the turf, but they're a good bit larger than my old Hassy lenses, (which cover a much larger image area)—I know this is unavoidable with auto-focus and modern lens design. On the other hand, they are quite good—again, pretty much what I expected after using the red badge X lenses.

The images are just astonishing to me, viewing them at 100% on a 5K monitor. Besides the fine details, the gradations have a smoothness to them, almost a liquidity, that reminds me of comparing platinum to silver prints.

Each Holga has its own characteristic 'charm'. A plastic 'toy' camera that is lots of fun to play with.

This is a great film camera. 10/10 recommend. This model accepts color film in addition to b&w film. The other model Holga accepts only b&w. Thanks B&H for great service.

Yes, it is a toy and you get what you get. That's the beauty of it. Mine is wonky and feels like it doesn't want to advance the film. I actually ruined 2 rolls of film, until I got the mechanism working.
That said, I love the dark edges and the slightly hazy lens.
Works best in bright light, this time around.

I needed a new holga fast for an event after mine stopped being so reliable. B&H had my order shipped fast and I got it with a few days to spare! Love this camera and the pictures are awesome!

Why does Fuji waste time and money with built-in film simulations? Do they think there are photographers who want medium format jpgs? I can't imagine why anyone who wants a medium format camera would not want to edit the raw image in Lightroom and/or Photoshop first, and add film simulations there, rather than be stuck with a film-sim jpeg that can't be edited as well. I love the camera but it just seems stupid.

Super fun little camera, very simple easy to use and totally imperfect in the best possible way. My first two rolls of black and white film turned out way better than expected, I’m excited to get my first roll of color process. Images turned out kinda spooky, perfect for Halloween. Got a few accidental double exposure that turned out unexpectedly awesome.

I bought this camera mostly for portraits, landscapes, and architectural photography. With the new firmware update v 2.11, it has become an action camera. Together with the Fujifilm gf 100-200 v 1.2 firmware, and the 1.4 teleconverter I have been able to take wonderful photos of birds in flight.
The sensor size helps to crop the photo and still get excellent definition even at poster size prints. The best!
