This is a great addition to my older Novatron 500WS kit. These umbrellas give me a one stop gain over the other really good reflective umbrellas that I own. The black backing captures the light spraying around the room. Especially important in small rooms as opposed to large studios.

I've had these for at least one year, so they've been stress tested with the wear-and-tear inherent in the field. Unlike the brand that I previously owned, these just don't seem bend, break or rip. They just work. Not sure if they produce more or better light than other brands -- that wouldn't surprise me if it was true -- but I can definitely vouch for their durability. Get these.

My Westcott umbrellas were good, but they bent and broke within about a year. The construction on this one seems heftier. Time will tell, but I like what I see.

Haven't used it yet, thinking it would be a bit more soft silver. Once I use it I will update.

Gives out a beautiful light with a soft tone.And its well made too.

I travel all over with these umbrellas. They are good quality, well put together. I like, although likely won't use the flex feature where you can change the shape It's easy enough to do. These are better quality than my previous umbrellas. Splines are higher quality. I'm happy with this and suspect you will be too.

This is a great photo umbrella with the interesting ability to adjust to a square framed if desired. Switching between normal (round) and square is too easy and does not take much time - certainly less than one minute. I'm learning how to light my photos with only a speedlight and haven't used any other umbrellas before. However, I've read many reviews and blogs, and I have an eye for quality. The fabric is sturdy and looks like it will withstand years of hard use. The velcro is firmly stiched in place with no loose or frayed edges. The shaft seems solid - not hollow - and requires no DIY modification. Overall I'm very pleased with my umbrella and would buy it again.

Great Umbrella I use it for portraits Standing and Sitting, with the subjects 4 ft away with a Camera flash at 1/8 Power light distribution is great. Durable I have one that is over 3 years old and still looks new..

Great product. I use them for head shots and some outdoor stuff. They filter light really well.
