Designed with architects and engineers in mind, this 24" x 150' roll of Double Matte Film from HP consists of a 4.8 mil thick polyester film with a basis weight of 152 gsm. One side offers a matte print surface designed to avoid line bleeds and resist smudging, while the reverse side is treated to minimize static buildup and allow for manual edits with pencil or ink. Other features include an opacity above 41% and brightness and whiteness values greater than 84%. The medium dries nearly instantly at room temperature, is recyclable, and comes wrapped in a 3" core.

If you want a clean, clinically sharp film this one isn't for you. If you want a film with a refined character and gorgeous mid-tones then it's for you. Wish FPP's came in 36 exposure rolls but I'll take what's in stock, if I could only use one film it would be this one. 5

I tried this film because it is a 24 exposure film in stock whereas my normal use Tri-X and HP5+ were not. Guess what? It's gorgeous! I ordered a bunch more. 5

I shot a few of these rolls to see what they were about. A nice change of pace. I am not sure I would trade in my Tri-x or Delta but this one does have some very intersting renditions, it is a fun film to change things up. 5
