great build , good product , no issue

I have used this on two locations shoots since I received it last week. The construction is solid and snaps into place like a rock.

Easy to mount, very good quality of light, mine came with a grid and a bag, sturdy, fast, buy it now, don't loose your time searching more options for an octosoft / circularsoft, buy it; you will not regret.

I was looking for a more portable beauty dish and this one fits the bill perfectly.  I have large soft boxes and the hard metal style beauty dishes for studio or large shoots but wanted something that was durable, portable  and quick to set up which could still produce great results while on the fly.  Set up is extremely fast with the umbrella style fitting and I can leave the diffusers in place which reduces set up time even more. Because I use a wireless/cordless lighting source, this is extremely versatile and produces better much more flattering results than an on camera flash modifier.  The quality out of the box is top notch, especially for the price and time will tell regarding durability but I have no reason to be concerned.  The one RECOMMENDATION that would make this absolutely exceptional is if there was a deflector accessory that would attach between the source and the diffusion baffle which allow it to perform more like a traditional beauty dish, further reducing any chance of hot spots.  It would be even better if the deflector could be adjustable distance-wise from the light source.  Ill begin to add examples to my IG feed https://www.instagram.com/scotthallenberg.photographer/

Bought this soft box /grid for use of continuous lighting for video work..Love the quality and price..Grid included to really help direct and control the lighting..Easy to open and close for fast use. Much better then the other more expensive options out there. Highly recommend..

Great quality and fast set up. I returned the revered brand “apurture” to get this one instead. Because it’s definitely a faster set up and incredibly good quality

I was convinced by the B&H expert who listened to my needs and spec. I must say I don’t regret it at all. The equipment is so solid, looks and feels like it was made of quality materials. Just what I need, something that will last long. I am satisfied.

After I bought my first Aputure 120d, I search for a speed ring to adapt my old Chimera video Softbox (24x36) and it worked well. I decided to buy another 120d and I found the Phottix Raja to be the perfect match for the Chimera for almost a third of the price.

First the carrying bag is good. No problem at all. It come with two diffusers and a grid which is great.

The biggest advantage is the speed of assembly. You put it on the ground and push on the center part and you ready to go in 10 seconds if you leave the front diffuser on it. My Chimera with a lot of experience take almost 2 minutes to assemble.

I found the center part a little big, it makes an X shape on the material but not on the subject. With the second layer of diffusion it is much less visible but still present (see picture).

The product itself seem very durable and well made but I don't know if it will work with hot lights. My Chimera softbox is a lot thicker than this one.

When I have to carry one softbox, I take this one over the other because it's quick to install.
