A: Hi Guy. The mic line circuitry and the headphone audio on the ATEM Camera Converter are actually wired together on the “Headphones” jack, which oddly enough is not indicated in the manual by Blackmagic. So, you just plug the TRRS plug into the "Headphones" jack on the ATEM and you will have full functionality including the mic. Thank you!

Q: 3. Does this work with the Motorola BPR40?

A: We use the Motorola Mag One BPR40 with this earpiece. Works great.

Q: 4. Can it be latched to an ON position when you need to talk at length?

A: No. The Whirlwind Micmute PT Push-to-Talk Switch is a momentary switch that does not latch. When the switch is pressed and held down, the Micmute will allow the audio signal to pass through, then mutes the signal as soon as the switch is released. For the latching version, you will want to check out the Whirlwind Micmute PP Push-On/Push-Off Audio Switch (B&H # WHMICMUTEPP). As another option to consider, the Rolls MS111 Mic Switch Latching or Momentary Microphone Mute Switch (B&H # ROMS111) will also work as a latching switch.

A: The voltage and the connection match-up. They should work well together.
