Available for download, the IK Multimedia T-RackS 5 ONE is an all-in-one mastering processor designed to be an intuitive, yet powerful tool. It's a three band EQ. It's a compressor. It can expand the bass frequencies, limit the mix, or change the width of your signal. With its nine relatively simple controls, you can tailor and shape the mix into the sonic picture you see in your head.

To the left, you'll note general EQ controls, such as Air for boosting or attenuating high frequencies, Focus for sculpting the midrange, and Body for subtle bass shaping. To enhance the lows even more, simply use the Bass Punch knob on the right, which both boosts and tightens the bottom end. Analog provides a touch of harmonic excitement, while the Transients knob either preserves, amplifies, or curtails the perception of percussive activity in the mix. A single knob Width control is on hand, as are over all Push and Volume knobs for compression and gain respectively.

Feel free to use EQual on drum busses, instrument busses, or whole mixes. It's compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, and works within audio units, VST, AAX formats.

The Bass Punch knob controls the low-end boost and tightness of the sound at the same time, while the Analog knob adds in a touch of harmonic excitement for color. The Transients knob can either enhance or smooth out the most percussive signals in the track, giving you control over the right amount of transient heft.

In the center of the ONE module, the Width control lets you fine-tune the stereo image of your track, giving the mix a wider feel or reigning in the sides to avoid phase problems.

At the core of the ONE module are the Push and Volume knobs. Push is a single control that makes adjusting compression an easy and natural process, while volume increases the ultimate gain without adding noticeable artifacts.

A: iRig Pro I/O LEDs Status / Audio level LED The lower LED will show the audio signal level and the status of the unit as follow: • LED Off: iRig Pro I/O is not connected to any power source. • LED Bright blue: iRig Pro I/O is connected and a signal is present at the input of the channel. • LED Green: The input signal of the corresponding channel is low. • LED Orange: The input signal of the corresponding channel is OK. • LED Red: The input signal of the corresponding channel is too high.

A: The iRig Pro DUO will connect via the Lightning port and does transmit a stereo signal to the iOS device.

Q: 3. If this irig pro I/o plugs directly into the lightning port, how can I charge my phone? Belkins lightning splitter only supports 24/48 audio. Can still use this with my mini audio jack on my iPhone 6?

A: There's an optional power supply that can run Pro I/O and charge your device at the same time.When you connect this the headphone jack on the iPhone 6 won't work, but there's a headphone jack on the Pro I/O itself you can plug into instead.

A: You can control the input gain on the microphone which would affect the volume in Facebook Live but it's not a pure volume control. But it should still work fine, I know many people using Pro I/O for Facebook streaming with no issues.

A: Yes, as long as it is 9VDC with a positive sleeve and at least 500mA.

A: If you keyboard controller is MIDI compatible, you can connect it to the iRig Pro using the included MIDI cables. A: The iRig is not able to be powered via Phantom Power at this time. The iRig Pro I/O can however offer Phantom power to a connected Condenser Mic.

A: iRig Pro and Pro I/O only output processed audio, meaning the app you're using to record must support real-time monitoring for you to be able to listen to the audio while recording. iRig Pre HD allows you to switch to direct monitoring so you can hear the audio directly, which is useful with apps that don't support monitoring. Many video and streaming apps don't support this - the built-in recorder, Facebook Live, Instagram, for example. So this is worth considering.In terms of sound quality the two are very similar.
