A: Add the Syrp Genie II Linear to your slider along with the included Genie rope, and you can enjoy motorized sliding for precise tracking shots and dynamic time-lapse sequences. The versatile Genie II is also compatible with nearly any third-party slider.

Q: 2. How do you charge the spare battery for the Genie II? Is there a wall/usb charger?

A: Please make a separate battery charger. This is a must on a professional set!

Q: 3. Can this pan like the original Genie or just linear?

A: This is just a linear motor.

Q: 4. Can I control multiple Syrp devices from one control device, for instance in a live event?

A: We think that probably you will be able to switch from one Genie to another in the app. How convenient or practical that will be is not known at this time.

Q: 5. How long does one charge last?

A: The Genie II battery takes 3hrs to charge, it must be charged within the unit. Battery life in timelapse mode is 12-14 hrs. Battery life in video mode is 8hrs. Please contact support@syrp.co.nz and we can answer any further questions.

Q: 6. How much wieght can I put on top of it?

A: This product has a horizontal payload of 16.5 lb and a vertical payload up to 11 lb.

If you do timelapses, this is a much needed item for your work. I set it up without any problems, the application is simple and native. I recommend to buy it! 5

It's a battery. Syrp works well for me and the old battery ran out after a few years. The new lasts many hours, long beyond the session duration 5

I'm surprised this device hasn't gained more traction. If it's compatible with your specific camera (list readily available online), this little gem backs up every claim made by Syrp. Simple to figure out (if you're the least bit technically inclined), ultra-compact, full camera control. Pretty slick for the timelapse/remote trigger world. And it works in colab with other Syrp motion control equipment. I'm not sure what more you can ask from something the size of a silver dollar. I'm a fan. 5
