The Palmer PCABM Passive Cabinet Manager is a small box designed for electric guitarists who wish to use multiple cabinets with one amplifier output. Simply plug one amplifier into either the series or parallel input jack, and plug 1/4" loudspeaker cables into each corresponding cabinet. Please note: Do not use both input jacks at the same time.

You can use this device with 4-,8-, or 16-Ohm cabinets, so long as you properly match the impedance of the amplifier. For your convenience, a chart has been printed onto the top right of the Cab Merger. This will help you calculate the total load of both cabinets. Please make sure that each cabinet you pair with the Cab Merger has the same impedance rating.

A: There are no controls to turn off the LEDs on the Palmer Monicon L controller.

Q: 7. On the Palmer PAN 02 PRO Active DI Box What would happen if you plug in a xlr balanced signal into the the input labeled xlr unbalanced?

A: You would not experience any problems if you connect a balanced signal via XLR to the unbalanced XLR input on the Palmer PAN 02 PRO Active DI Box. The input will be grounded once it is connected and there is a ground switch as well as a transformer-balanced output which helps mitigate any unwanted noise.

Q: 8. Can this be used to mix multiple headphone outputs into one headphone output or is this only intended for line in/out?

A: Although the Rolls MX41B could technically be used for headphone signals, the impedance of its inputs & outputs is not the same as the typical impedance range of headphones. This may lead to undesirable results and lower audio quality.

Q: 9. Looking to buy JBL LRS 308 pair, and 310 sub. Will this support a sub ?

A: This controller is meant for a stereo pair and does not have a subwoofer connection. So it depends on where your subwoofer connection originates. If the subwoofer is directly connected to your stereo pair, then you're ok; otherwise, not. This is a great controller for a pair of powered monitors, and I really like the mono switch capability. The sound quality is beyond reproach.
