Designed for use with smartphones, tablets, DSLRs, or compact cameras, the aptly named Foldio3 25" Mini Studio from ORANGEMONKIE is a 25 x 25 x 22" white portable light box that folds to a thickness of 2.5" and is easily carried by its convenient handle. Ideal for shooting small products and e-commerce, the Foldio3 has three daylight-balanced LED strips with dimmers so you can dial in the appropriate light intensity or create a ratio between the strips by dimming one of them. Black and white backdrops are included to vary your images and a multi-voltage AC power supply is also supplied. Download the free app to edit, web share, and make adjustments to chroma key, brightness, and color temperature.

If I buy the Foldio2Plus, which does include a dimmer, can this extra pair of lights be operated and dimmed on the Foldio2Plus dimmer at the same time as the built-in 3 lights of the Foldio2Plus? Some YouTube reviews show extra lights like these just plugging into a second dimmer control on a single dimmer box, but they don't say if that's the Foldio2Plus dimmer, or an upgraded dimmer bought separately.

Clever design makes it easier to store, my previous setup hated bein moved and took up a lot of room. It is somewhat limited as to size, especially for longer objects, but I knew that going in and I can adapt. It has already paid for itself with better looking product photos. 5

Easy up and down. Great lighting. You will need some additional front lighting for many items. I do wish they had more colors for the backgrounds available. You can fold it up with the black background in place, but not with the white...minor issue. Easy to get GREAT photos! 5

It's a wonderful invention. It's easy to put together and easy to take apart to store. It works perfectly for what I bought it for...take pictures of my 18 doll who models the clothes I make to sell. The handle makes it very convenient to carry from one place to another. I highly recommend it. I think the price is even just right! 5

I'd purchased this unit for macro-photography, and while it may not be specifically intended for that purpose it works quite well. It is lightweight and easy to set up. I would have appreciated a carrying case of some kind for portability and storage, but I have since obtained an expandable, artist's portfolio that does the job. 5
