A: This was fantastic during the eclipse. I made very little adjustments aftet setup. I used my remote and enjoyed the show. I've also tracked stars for over 5 min with pinpoint accuracy.

Q: 2. If I skipped using a preamp and plug my mic directly into this, would I get sufficient amplification for recording?

A: The ART EQ-351 is designed to accept line level inputs only. Unfortunately a mic can not be directly connected to this unit.

A: The Ball Head is used on the left hand side of the Tracker. The bottom of the Mount attaches to the Tripod.

A: Yes. If you are in the northern hemisphere, the iOptron SkyGuider Pro EQ Camera Mount needs to be pointed to true north as the first step in the alignment process.

Q: 7. Is the clutch supposed to be flush with the body once tightened? I just received mine and there is an inconsistent gap that is approximately 2 mm wide (1/16 of an inch) at its widest. I am concerned this will allow debris to contaminate the SkyGuider.
