For those computers that only have spare PCI x1 slots. Works great, increases the network bandwidth. Recommend if possible getting a computer with at least a spare PCI x4 slot and the 10 Gbe version of this card !!! 5

With Unraid, its plug and play. Windows and PfSense both need a driver installed prior to functioning. For Windows check the Marvell website for AQtion drivers. For PfSense look up the freebsd aquantia-atlantic-kmod driver. In regards to that not recognized statement. I, at first, had a similar issue; the cards did not get picked up by the system. Cards work well once seated properly. I suspect the brackets are not perfect and hold the card just out of the slot. I bent the top part ever so slightly so it sits properly in the slot. 5
