Supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails and helps prevent loss of data

Surge protection diverts excess voltage away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to prevent damage

Data line protection prevents power surges that travel through telephone, coaxial, and Ethernet lines from causing damage to electronics

Line Interactive topology exists when a line interactive UPS has an auto-transformer that regulates low voltages and over voltages without having to switch to battery

Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) provides clean, consistent AC power by automatically increasing (boosting) low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations

Sine Wave output provides power protection to ENERGY STAR 6.0 systems with Active PFC power supplies

GreenPower UPS Bypass design allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer when AC power is stable, which reduces energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup

Rotatable multifunction LCD panel displays immediate, detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions

Rack/tower versatility allows for horizontal rack or vertical tower installation

PowerPanel Business Edition software (available as a free download) provides tools for monitoring and managing the UPS and backup power and offers remote management functionality

220V, 230V, or 240V selectable input voltage allows for use in a wide variety of locations

Great UPS, saved my bacon a couple of times during power outages.

This thing is a tank, but it's easy to set up and rack. LEDs can be set to be completely off, which is nice. Came well packed, which is good, because I could tell the box had been thrown away by the broken up styrofoam. I'm a little surprised the front display survived, but it did and everything great.

I have had no issues with this model. Another reviewer pointed out that output was 125VAC and that “we live in the USA so should be 120VAC”. To this I respond, “You know how people say 110V all the time when they mean household power that is actually 120V? Well, 110, 115, 117.5, 120, 125... All refer to the same thing. This is due to a series of bumps the power companies have done over the decades to deliver more total power over the same wires. The next bump isn't scheduled, but it will be to 125V and the device manufacturers want to be ready.” So that is a moot complaint... PERIOD.
Fan noise is for the device's protection and I find where I keep it affects the fan noise. Contained space = heat = fans doing their job. Flop this on the desk with a ton of air flow (I know cause I tried) and minimal fan noise.

Overall a great device and does what it is advertised to do.

I bought this unit to replace a similar 1 RU model that was making a ton of noise. This one is quiet and seems well built. Quite heavy of course, but it kind of has to be.

The feature set is rich and the power specs are optimal for a 15amp circuit.

A well made UPS. The most powerful you can put on a 15 amp circuit. Clean Sinewave voltage output.

I recently build a new desktop in order to use for my photo editing. Given that I put a LOT of money into it, I didn't want anything happening to it as a result of a power outage, spike, or surge. In order to protect the system, I purchased this particular UPS based on the wattage it could support. I've only had it a few weeks and just now connected my desktop and configured the UPS to shutdown in case of an outage. So far I'm happy with it and with the speed at which B&H shipped it. Overnight, I believe. It weights closed to 60 lbs and I go it overnight. Kudos to B&H for the lightspeed delivery. Although not an issue, I wish CyberPower would make a unit which could be access via the internet or a mobile device.

Very well build product. After calling Cyberpower, and looking at their spec sheets, I found all 1500 models were not equal. Some are 1050 watts, some are 1500 watts. This is the 1500 watt model-even though it did state 1050 watts in the BH website. I notified B&H on this fact.
With the 1500 watt models, this model apparently had the longest runtime during power outages, so you get what you pay for.
