The RF Venue 2X1SPLIT is a passive, 2x1 RF signal splitter/combiner equipped with three BNC female connectors. It is compatible with all major brands

of wireless microphone receivers. It is also compatible with IEM transmitters that are passively combinable. The 2X1SPLIT operates within the RF carrier frequency ranging from of 10 to 1000 MHz.

The splitter/combiner ca be used in two configurations: one BNC antenna in and two BNC outs, or two BNC antenna ins and one BNC out. The R1 channel passes 12 VDC if DC over coax is provided.

A: The Kopul CMCS-1 Passive 3.5mm Microphone Combiner/Splitter does not have a headphone output. Instead, you could monitor using your camera's headphone output.

Q: 5. I have four 411a receivers. Would this allow me to connect them all to two Betso Bowties or other external antenna?

A: It will, but this is a 1x8 splitter, so you would need one for each of the two antennae.

Q: 8. I do high school basketball play by play with an Irigpro. Can this ART SPLITCOM Pro be used to add another Mic for a second announcer doing commentary during pauses in my play by play while still running both mics through the iRigPro?? A: The ART SPLITCom Pro Microphone Splitter/Combiner can be used as desired to combine two microphones into one output signal. It will not allow for individual level control of each microphone however. For a solution that does allow level control, a small mixer such as BH #ARUSBMIX4 would be suitable.

Q: 9. Does the bundle include the 12v power adapter cables?

A: Yes. The 4 power cables are attached to the combiner unit and plug directly to and power up the individual channel units.

Q: 10. Does it pass along 3V plug-in power from the camera to run a lavalier?

A: Yes. Power is passed thru; photos show a lavalier mic connected, which would confirm this.

I got this to use with a portable 4-track recorder mainly so I could take a split feed from the singer's mic -- much better sound than what's coming out of the PA -- or I can also combine two mics on a single channel when 4 mics just aren't enough. It works very well for both purposes, so I intend to get one or two more. It doesn't alter the sound at all, and seems to be rugged enough for field work. B&H has the best price. 5

I was a bit wary of the comparatively low price, but was pleasantly surprised the first time I used it. I'm sure that the sound from a high-end splitter will sound somewhat better, but for my purposes (event videography and live sound recording), I'm thoroughly satisfied. 5

I was looking for an XLR combiner, and when I found this one that was both an XLR combiner AND splitter and was less expensive than other XLR combiners, I was a bit skeptical. But there is no need for you to be skeptical because I have used it and it works great! I use it to create a mono output from my stereo keyboard (without loosing any of the audio from either channel). 5

When Working in small clubs with limited channels,it allows me to save a channel for something else, I like to use the SPLITCOM to add a mic to the bottom of the snare, with the out of phase switch it has allows me to get the sound perfect everytime, I use a Beta 56 on top and a Audio Technica Pro 35 on the bottom of the snare, this unit also allows the phanton power to run thru the one side of it. The ART SPLITCOM Pro is a great tool to have for any engineer. 5
