Use your smartphone to track your video subjects with the Zhiyun-Tech TransMount Object Tracking Smartphone Clamp. The clamp attaches your smartphone to your camera via the camera's accessory shoe. Then, use the ZY Play app to track subjects by selecting them on the screen. The advantage of subject tracking is that you can hold the gimbal and have your camera automatically follow the intended subject.

The clamp is compatible with the CRANE 3S, CRANE 3 LAB, CRANE-2, CRANE Plus, and CRANE V2 gimbals.

I use these to quickly mount a Zoom H5 and a Shinobi recorder on my video setup. Saves me lots of time , specially if I need to quickly remove either items to shoot something else. 5

Easy to use once you know how to. I had to look up a video on how to actually use the quick release, since the box didn't have instructions how to, but it's really quite easy to use: just pull down on the ring with the Zhiyun logo after you've attached it and it will release. If you are planning on using this to switch between two grips on a gimbal you'll need to buy 2 of these by the way 5

The Smooth-5 works great with my iPhone 14 Pro Max with a slim case attached. Glad I did my homework on gimbals before buying. This is the best gimball for this particular phone. 5

I bought this gimbal over the Osmo Mobile 6 (based on multiple reviews) and it works well - especially for shooting real estate. The key to achieving smooth footage, as with any gimbal in this price range, is to a) make sure you 'ninja' walk and hold the gimbal steady; and b) shoot at 60 fps, then slow it down to 30 fps in post-production (with programs such as Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro. 5
