Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you do double exposure?

A: A double exposure would be possible if winding the film rewind dial back. However, it's possible that the frame would be misaligned. Your results may vary.

Q: 2. Is it safe to store film in the freezer with his case? Or should I just the individual canisters they come in by default? I'm worried about condensation getting inside.

A: I would not recommend storing film in the freezer, this case will work fine in the fridge.

Q: 3. What is the focal ratio of the lens?

A: According to Ilford, the Harman reusable 35mm film camera has an aperture/f-number/focal ratio of f/10.

Q: 4. what is the differencec between this camera and the new one that is available in january 2021? (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1612507-REG/ilford_2005152_sprite_35_ii_reusable_camera.html/?ap=y&ap=y&smp=y&smp=y&lsft=BI%3A514&gclid=Cj0KCQiA_qD_BRDiARIsANjZ2LAk3OjNSePKnP93FhGVb3p6TTuBIJXnIQOwU-dLguLkbV4auEFMp3QaAgJ1EALw_wcB)

A: There aren't any significant difference between them, but the Sprite II has an f/9 aperture, while the Harman has an f/10 aperture.

Q: 5. How does this camera compensate for different light? The shutter speed sounds like it's fixed. Is the aperture fixed as well?

A: The built in aperture is automatic and adjusts to varying lighting conditions.

Q: 6. Am i able to put my own Kodak 35mm film in the camera? Or does it require the brand’s own film

A: Kodak 35mm film can be used in this camera.

Q: 7. What is the focal length of the lens?

A: Hi--the equivalent focal length of this camera is 31mm.

Q: 8. does it produce sound?

A: The camera is crank 35mm moving film camera. It does not record sound. If you are referring to the sound the camera might make while recording, it is very minimal.

Q: 9. Can you print 3D images on a conventional printer?

A: You can print the images that were taken in any photo lab. Please print them in half-frame since one RETO3D exposure takes up 3 half-frames.

Q: 10. I know it's not waterproof but how does it do in the rain?

A: You can snap 2 or 3 shots on light rain. I will not recommend using this camera constantly under heavy rain. If water reaches the electrical system of the camera it could permanently harm the camera. The manufacture pack this camera in a fitted disposable plastic bag. I will recommend maintaining the camera inside the bag and cutting the portion in front of the lens, the flash, and the viewfinder. It will serve as a disposable rain cover.

These are great for storing, and transporting multiple rolls of film. I use both sizes, 35mm and 120 film size holder....

Exactly what I needed. Quality item. Only thing is you need a rubber band to secure the top part.

This film holder is great to put into the small spaces that previously went unused in my camera bag. I originally thought I would have problems with the lid staying on but everything stays where it’s supposed to be.

It looks so cute! And I was worried about if it would be loose without a band. But it turns out not to be a problem, it sit right on the spot.

This case is better than some others I've seen. The pieces fit together and stay put, while some others that I've had require a rubber band to hold the top and bottom together.

The Kalt reusable cassettes are great. I love them. But they are considerably more fragile than factory-made film cassettes. I bought the JCH Hard Case specifically for keeping my bulk loaded film safe and protect the longevity of my reusable cassettes. This Hard Case is terrific regardless of what film you put in there because its just an all around great organizer, but its specifically useful for the more fragile reusable cassettes.

I bought this case ahead of a trip to NYC to manage the film I had on hand. The case feels sturdy and of good quality. One small hack I did was to take a piece of gaffers tape and stick it on the back to make a hinge so I wouldn't misplace the lid while reloading.

I typically shoot film while walking about the streets and environs. I keep a couple of the 10-roll containers in my camera bag, but do not like to carry a bag of gear with me while walking and shooting, so I will put one these in a fanny pouch. They are handy and work great. The lid does not snap into place, so I use a rubber band to secure it, and keep a few spare bands in the fanny pack in case I lose any. I only use the black version and have never had a problem (I have always questioned whether the other colors, like white, are light safe.)
