Q: 4. What’s the difference between the V350 and the TT350 Godox flash units?

A: The main difference between the Godox V350 Flash and the Godox TT350 Flash would be the battery used to power the flash unit. The Godox TT350 uses two (2) standard AA batteries to power the flash, which provide approximately 210 full-power flashes and whose recycle time is approximately 0.1-2.2 seconds. The Godox V350 Flash uses a proprietary Godox VB20 Lithium-Ion Battery for V350 Flash (7.2V, 2000mAh) which provides more than 500 full-power flashed per charge and whose recycle time is approximately 0.1-1.7 seconds. While that is the main difference, other minor differences would be that the Godox V350 only offers radio wireless triggering, but has a much longer range of up to 164.04 feet (50 meters); the Godox TT350 offers radio triggering with a working range of up to 98.43 feet (30 meters), and optical triggering up to 49.21 feet (15 meters). The Godox V350 has both high-speed sync and second-curtain sync capabilities in addition to standard first-curtain sync, while the Godox TT350 only offers high-speed sync in addition to standard first-curtain sync. The swivel head on the Godox TT350 swivels a full 360°, while the head on the Godox V350 only swivels 270°. Other than the above, the flashes would be identical in performance.

I use the Godox flashes as they're the only ones so far that have wireless capability and use lithium-ion batteries. Why at this stage of the game so many flashes still use AA's is beyond me. The 850/860 are powerful but full size flashes, the 350 is a powerful enough flash that can fit in a smaller carry bag when you don't need the whole kit or are traveling light.
