The Audix f50 is a Fusion Series handheld cardioid dynamic microphone offering high feedback immunity and a smooth, unhyped sound for vocals, speech, and instruments in studios, houses of worship, corporate events, and live stage applications. The element features a dynamic moving coil, which requires no external power. Its cardioid polar pattern attenuates off-axis noise caused by sources such as monitors, additional instruments, and room ambience.

The f50 produces a frequency response of 50 Hz to 16 kHz with moderately pronounced low-mid and high-mid frequencies. Its dynamic element is designed to handle loud input signals without distortion while providing over 20 dB of off-axis rejection. The gold-plated XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs, and the die-cast zinc alloy body with a steel mesh grille provides road-ready protection and durability. The f50 ships with a microphone clip and carrying pouch.

A: 16.5 inches

Q: 3. does this mic have an on/off switch?

A: No the Sennheiser e 835 is a cardiod dynamic mic. The only way it can be made wireless is with a wireless system that has a a mic plug transmitter. Like the Sony or the Sennheiser

Q: 5. Is E835 mic compatible with Sennheiser XSW-D wireless system? (Iwanna replace with XS1 mic).

A: Hi Tevfik - Yes! The XSW-D Vocal Set is compatible with any dynamic microphone (or battery powered microphone) - enjoy the upgrade to the e 835!

Q: 6. what type of amp is best for this mic and harmonica?

A: Many harmonica players like to use a microphone through a small combo amplifier designed for guitar to achieve a tone with a little more grit and dirtier tone than a standard PA speaker. Perhaps something like the Blackstar Debut 15E Stereo 15W Practice Guitar Amplifier (B&H # BLDEBUT15EBG) or the Roland CUBE-10GX Guitar Amplifier (B&H # ROCUBE10GX), or the VOX Valvetronix VT20X Hybrid Modeling 1x8 Combo Guitar Amplifier (B&H # VOVT20X).

Q: 7. How far away from the receiver is it okay?

A: The Sennheiser e835S Handheld Cardioid Dynamic Microphone is not a wireless microphone/transmitter, it is a standard wired microphone. As an option for a wireless system with the same mic capsule, you may like the Sennheiser EW-D 835-S SET Digital Wireless Handheld Microphone System with MMD 835 Capsule - Q1-6: 470 to 526 MHz (B&H # SEEWD835SQ16), or the Sennheiser XSW 1-835-A UHF Vocal Set with e835 Dynamic Microphone - A: 548 to 572 MHz (B&H # SESXSW1835A), or the Sennheiser XSW 2-835-A Wireless Handheld Microphone System with e835 Capsule - A: 548 to 572 MHz (B&H # SEXSW2835A). For a camera-mount system, the Sennheiser EW 135P G4 Camera-Mount Wireless Cardioid Handheld Microphone System - A1: 470 to 516 MHz (B&H # SEEW135PG4A1) is a great option. The EW-D and EW series systems have an operating distance of up to 330 feet line of sight, and the XSW system has an operating distance of up to 100 feet line of sight.

Q: 9. We have had two M1250B's for four years. Purchased to record the choir. Recently, the Music Director wants to amplify the choir a bit during Praise and Worship songs. However, the M1250Bs pick up a bunch of drums which sit 12 feet from the left mic and the drums are actually more predominate than the choir. Request advice? gev at Kirkmont Church

A: Move the drum kit if possible. If these mics are not ceiling mounted - you might try a few of these panels: ClearSonic S5-2 - 66 x 48 x 1.5 Double Section SORBER Baffle (Light Grey) with Handle. a href= http://bhpho.to/1AeFdcw target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1AeFdcw/a

Q: 10. IS the mic clip for the stand included with the stage kit?

A: Yes, the mic clip is included and will be found in the box with the microphone. Very often manufacturers will ship the mic clip with a little insert that allows use with boom poles. If it is inserted in the threading of the mic clip, use a dime as a tool to back out and remove the insert and you'll be all set.

I have been a professional lead vocalist/singer for over 35 years.  My go to mic had always been the Shure SM58 until ... I purchased a Sennheiser e835 last year from B &H.   The sound quality from the e835 blew the SM58 out of the water... no comparison!!  Loved my e835 ,,, until I decided to upgrade and purchase my e935 , when it went on sale recently!  All I can say is if you love the e835, youre gonna love the sound of the e935!!  The best sounding mic ever!  Thank you Sennheiser for outdoing yourself and making another great sounding mic!!

Ordered this microphone as a backup to my Sennheiser Lav Mic. Worked perfectly for the wedding reception I was recording. I was able to tie this mic to the in house system as well as my camera wireless.

The i5 is great on guitar cab and snare...The SM57 is warmer, but if you need a brighter tone... This is it!

this mic does a great job on the bottom side of the snare. Nice crisp high end, nice mids. Sounds better than the small condenser mic we were using.

A great mic at a great price. Audix's version of the SM57. Perfect for that warm, dynamic sound on all instruments. A must have for any recording engineer.

Accurate, No feedback during entire event, rugged build even though I wouldn't allow just anyone handle this mic(price), comfortable to swing. Clear. Worth the investment.

Sounds great for vocals, but you can use them in a lot of different things, I even use the for violins in a mariachi band. Also for brass.

Some of my friends recently purchased a e935 and after trying it out,
I decided to buy one also.
The mic really performs well with crisp highs and a full rich tone.
The feedback rejection is also very good. All in all, a great microphone.
