With M8x0.75 male threads and designed to fit their 8x50 and 9x60 finders and 12.5mm Micro Guide eyepiece, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Log-Pot Illuminator is also compatible with a wide variety of gear, from other manufacturers, that requires illumination—as long as the thread size and pitch are the same. A simple turn activates the light and controls the rheostat to dial in the right amount of light. The Log-Pot emits red light to preserve night-adjusted vision while allowing you to see the finder or eyepiece reticle. The illuminator runs on two included SR41W batteries.

Q: 1. Is this the Baader 8.3 mm long adapter?

A: Yes, the Alpine Astronomical Baader Wide T-Ring Set for Canon EOS R has an optical length of 8.3mm.

Q: 2. I have a Fuji X-Pro3 and T-Adaptor (for Fuji). Do I need this B&H #ALHTA43T2 in order to connect to the Mark 4 zoom?

A: That is correct, the B&H #ALHTA43T2 adapter is necessary to attach to T Mounts.

Q: 3. how can I adapt the Baader U-Filter 2" to a Nikkor AF-S 50mm 1:1.8G Lens?

A: 2" is the outside diameter of the filter, not the thread. It's an M48 thread as stated on the manufacturer website, baader-planetarium. Use a normal step-up ring.

Q: 4. Can I use the Baader 76 degree Morpheus 4.5 mm eyepiece in the Celestron Regal M2 100ED spotting scope I have ordered from B&H?

A: It probably wont work properly because its too magnified. The Spotting scope is too short a focal length, I would recommend a 12 mm & higher.

Q: 5. Is this adapter 8.3 mm long, as shown at the Baader site?

A: Yes the length would be 8.3mm.

Q: 6. Will this fit a M48 X .75 thread?

A: This is an M42 Thread, so it will not fit that threading size.

Q: 7. Baader and other sellers offer an additional M48 insert with this package. Does B&H offer this?

A: Yes the Alpine Astronomical Baader T-Ring Camera Adapter (Sony E/NEX) includes an M48 thread for more compatibility options.

Q: 8. Will the Sony RX100 vi work on the Baader Microstage II?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. This zoom eyepiece is 3 times the price of Celestron's zoom. Is it worth that difference in cost?

A: It has much higher optical quality due to the -Phantom Coating Group Multi-Coatings and 7-Element/4-Group Flat-Field Lens Design

Q: 10. Does this filter block IR and UV?

A: The Alpine Astronomical Baader Green Colored Bandpass Eyepiece Filter (2") BH #ALFCFG2 • MFR #FCFG-2 does not block UV or IR rays.
