i'm a cheapskate when it comes to accessories. but when a weekend shooting turned into a weekly visit to the chiropractor, i started to see the monetary value of a good strap. i LOVE this strap. if you carry your own bag, this is worth the cost. the rubber lined inside keeps this bag on my shoulder. the rotating hooks mean i don't have to untangle my strap ever time i pick it up. the width and stretch made my bag feel 5 pounds lighter.

I have found it more convenient to keep my 70-200mm lens in the bag that came with it rather than in a bag with my other lenses. The lens is heavy though, and the strap was cutting into my shoulder. I replaced the bag's strap with this, and it's now comfortable enough that I'm likely to take the 70-200mm out for fun on occasion, not just for work.

Even though mine isn't a heavy-weight bag I wanted something that would take some of the stress off my arthritic shoulder. This strap filled the bill. Being wider, made of neoprene and they're internal stretch system made carrying my bag for hours much more comfortable. Another plus is that it's a little longer than my old strap so when I wear it across my body it rides a little lower on my hip.

I purchased 3 of them. 1) for my 17 notebook bag, which has always been a shoulder breaker. 2) for another bag i always fly around with which had a very poor strap 3) for my Nikon 200-400 lens Not really long enough for me to use on a heavy lens with pro body, besides a really carry that around with it's lens foot anyway. PERFECT for my notebook and carry on bag, makes a huge improvment to the comfort. Very well made and sturdy. Mad if you don't get a couple.

I have a pretty heavy (20lbs) bag that has both a waist belt and provision for a shoulder strap. To test this strap out, I purposely loaded the bag down with a ton of stuff and went without the waist belt. At the end of the day, I was very glad that I had gotten this strap. It's comfortable all day, without being bouncy like some neoprene-padded straps can be.

For years I struggled with straps on my camera and laptop bags as constantly slipping of my shoulder and pressing so much you get sore after a while. I bought this as a replacement for my new camera bag which had an ugly strap. Coincidently I've firstly tried it with my everyday commuting and heavy laptop bag. From the first moment there was the WOW effect. The strap doesn't slip at all (wrongly assuming all my life I had badly built shoulders), and even more the strap makes your heavy bag so light you don't even feel it it's there. The effect is like a professional camera weight distribution stabiliser, or driving a Mercedes with a superb suspension on Continental tyres. The heavy bag just floats beside your body, thanks to the soft and the elastic material, gently going up and down (I'm talking millimetres here), enough to spread the load instead of digging deep in your shoulder. I was taken straight to my old school days and my Physics lessons. Think of the Newton's Third Law. The support upward force (by the the S.O.S. Strap by Op/Tech ) is an 'equal and opposite' force to the downward gravity and the bag's pulling force, trying to balance all the forces and keep the object at rest. With normal strap every time the bag pulls down (when you walk) an additional force is applied to your sore shoulder, but with this innovative strap this force is compensated. I'm buying three more of these straps to replace all of my household straps. Did I say, it also looks very attractive and modern. Plain black color but looks professional and muscular on your shoulder with its wide and long elastic cushion with a smart zigzag stitching.

Best strap you can find probably, ultra comfortable than my old strap that came with my camera bag(in which I always have 20+ lb of equipments in).

the strap that came with my camera bag let go on me. it was cheap. c'est la vie. I bought this as a replacement. It feels much more substantial (thicker material) and is much more comfortable. metal clasps a big plus. only negative is that the adjustment buckles to shorten or lengthen the strap are plastic as opposed to metal but they probably hold better than metal. excellent choice for the price

I purchased this for a heavy camera bag, and it has exceeded my expectations. I have tried a number of other straps, and this one is by far the best.

Very comfortable and the non-slip backside is really great. The material is a little steatchable to fit the shoulder, not too much like rubber. I have been using other shoulder strap that has air-cushion pad a little long time but this one is far better. The length is ok for me (I'm 5' 10 tall ). I guess some tall people feel it is a little too short. Anyway it is very good strap.
