After realizing that I wanted another creative avenue aside from music, I turned my focus onto photography. Realizing I had not a clue about DSLR cameras, I asked a friend to help me find some deals and he happily pointed me to this T5 bundle. Taking his word, I received the device quite quickly and man am I amazed with the quality of the pictures as well as how versatile the two lenses are for my adventures both in the wild and in the city. Between both contexts of the wild and the city, the two lenses help capture the things I would want to see, whether blown up or in a big picture sense. The camera is super easy to operate, especially without having any experience or schooling. Having a bag off the get go is definitely a plus for those who want to get right into using the camera daily. Plus, it has plenty of space; I am currently borrowing two more lenses on top of the two kit lenses through this bundle and I feel they are well secure! I am to understand however, that the T5's tracking for night shots are not the best, but considering I myself am not looking for shots of the stars, I'm not too concerned. Though, this camera did manage to get some fantastic shots of the fireworks in my neighborhood on the 4th!

I love this camera ,I was using the Rebel xti previously so it was very easy to use it right out of box. I really like the auto iso feature. Using it mostly for nature photography. Very happy with it . I use mostly the 75-300 mm lens and would love to be able to afford a really good lens but the 75-300 it comes with in the package is ok for what I do. The other thing that I love about this camera is that it is still a true thru the lens view you get you look thru the view finder and not a time lagged digital image.

I've wanted this camera for two years now and I finally got it! I'm still playing with it but it's amazing I love how my pictures turned out with it! The only thing I didn't expect was it didn't come with the 55-250 mm lense like I thought I did. Other then that I would recommend to everyone who wants to take up photography!

My first camera was the Canon Rebel T3i, which I immediately fell in love with it. But I'm always up for something new, so I was gifted the Rebel T5 and I am very pleased. It is more light weight than the T3i, which is a bonus. The shutter speed feels more responsive and faster than the T3i. Overall, I the T5 feels like a better camera. My only annoyance is the LCD. I loved that you could hide the display with the T3i and miss that feature quite a bit on the T5. The rest is history. Faster, lighter and better image quality. Nice camera.

Is capable of producing some pretty wonderful pictures. This is my first DSLR, and I've had it for about 2-3 months now, and overall I like it and have no major gripes with it (the cons listed below are quite minor in my eyes). Pros: Solidly built for the price (with exception, see cons below)* Good image quality Comes with kit lens that is great for general use Can shoot in raw Can shoot video Cons: Flimsy battery door* Can only shoot video in manual focus Autofocus with live view is rather slow and not always accurate

I decided to give SLR cameras another try. I figured the digital SLR cameras would let me learn how to use one without spending big dollars on film and developing. The T5 has optional on-screen tips to remind you what feature does what. The camera can almost teach you how to use it. Menus are intuitive. The Digial Photo Professional software that comes with the camera is worth cost alone. DPP can take images saved in RAW format and correct for distortions and aberrations caused by a given lens. The camera itself, can delete dust data from images that you take. I make sure I have lots of light and a fast shutter speed, and then I almost alwasy get pictures so sharp that it always makes me wonder in amazement.

I've only had the product for less than two weeks, but so far I really like it. I prefer to take pictures outside, and I've found the image quality absolutely great! I especially like the macro feature. Taking macro shots of flowers is a stress reducer for me and the macro feature on the T5 is GREAT!! The only negative, is that it can do almost too much. There are a lot of features to it which makes it a little daunting to figure it all out.
