The SoftLED2 Daylight-Balanced LED Light from DeSisti is a 16.5 x 11.8 x 8" extruded aluminum fixture with a color temperature of 5600K and a high CRI/TLCI rating of 95/96, an indicator of superior and accurate color rendering. While consuming just 150W, the light outputs several times that number in equivalent tungsten output that is dimmable from 0 to 100% without flicker. Adjustments to light intensity may be made locally on the fixture or remotely on a console via onboard DMX. The SoftLED2's LEDs have a virtually maintenance-free lifetime of 50,000 hours helped by its quiet, thermally-activated fan and heat sink. The SoftLED2 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 90-250 VAC power supply.

A: As of the date/time of this reply, there is only one (1) other question under the Q&A section regarding fan noise, with the inquiry asking "Does this have a fan that will kick on and make a noise that will interfere with video production. A staff employee stated it does have a fan that the manufacturer calls "quiet," while a customer who purchased the unit states the fan can only be heard when your ear is lose to the unit. Under the "Reviews" tab on our website, there are eight (8) reviews that mention fan noise. The main consensus of the reviews indicate the fan is quiet, but not silent. As such, if you are close to the unit, you may hear the sound of the fan, but as long as your microphones are not right next to the light fixture and you are careful with microphone placement and microphone gain levels, the sound output by the fan should not be an issue even in quiet environments. Do note that if you purchase the light kit and you are not happy with its performance, you may return the kit within 30 days for an exchange or a refund.

A: The 5/8" receiver used to mount this on a light stand is made of strong plastic. Being less than 5 lbs., the strength of the receiver is not a problem.

A: The YN600LW and YN600L IIW are Daylight units. The YN600LC is Bicolor. The YN600 IIW has wireless control.
