With all the new Fuji options, I decided to sell my old kit. I've used an X-Pro 2 since 2017 for street, landscape, portrait, birding, everything. My kit included XF16 f1.4, XF100-400, XF80, XF50. Many pros and many cons to those combinations, but it was time for a change. I sold all of it. I purchased the XH2, carried it for a mountain bike ride shooting landscapes and ravens, then returned it. Great images, but... It's too heavy for my trail kit. Too much video camera for my needs. I missed my xPro dials, so I ordered the XT5. It's much lighter, yet not too small. The flip out screen is delicate but functional. AF is heavenly compared to Xpro. EVF is bright and huge...I can see! Overall very pleased with the new camera and how it functions with newer lenses: XT5+ XF33 F1.4, XF 70-300, and an oldie M-Voigtlander 15mm. Now, please send me a $500 gift card, B&H. This review is the winner. 5

Some professional reviews suggest dated autofocus. I have found that in a near-dark room, the X-T5 focuses almost instantly, locking onto an edge somewhere in the low light. The ISO at 12,800 is good enough to justify the smaller, lighter APS-C format without resorting to a full frame camera for lower noise (rivals my wife's Nikon Z7 for instance). Feels good in the hand and the images are sharp and clear. A great camera; really no complaints. I should mention that I rarely take video so I cannot comment on movie performance. 5

Works well and feels good in my hands. Wasn't sure if the smaller grip would be comfortable but it's substantial enough that it's easy to hold one-handed above my head even. Numerous customization options, and the autofocus is impressive (despite what folks say about it being worse than the competition, it doesn't mean it's bad by any means). I've had trouble with saving custom settings when in video mode exactly how I like them, but perhaps there's just something I'm missing. Overall, a great experience. 5

I have owned every generation of Fuji XT series cameras since their inception but the X-T5 is by far the fastest focusing version with the best face detection and eye detection. 5

The X-T5 is the best APS-C stills body i have used to date, making very few compromises to deliver a small, lightweight camera that can rival many full frame competitors. The 18-55mm lens included in the kit is nice and sharp, with my inly complaint being the variable maximum aperture. 5

I exchanged my X-H2S to the X-T5 because I am focusing more on still than movies. I like the X-T5 because of its style, like the X-T3, you can grasp in one view all the setting. This is important when you need to take a fast picture, you don't have to think which button you have to access to get the setting you need. Colors are great and vivid. The IBIS is fantastic, I can take pictures at 1/2 second and they are very sharp. This is so helpful when you cannot carry a tripod! And focusing is so fast... I recommend this camera. 5
