The 1" x 60 yd white Premium Flatback Paper Console Tape from ProTapes has a backing that effortlessly unwinds, offers a high tensile strength; and is easily torn by hand. The PH-neutral synthetic rubber is a strong adhesive, but can be repositioned in case it was not applied correctly the first time. The tape is ideally used on sound and lighting consoles for labeling and color coding areas on the boards. The flatback paper backing also has a writable surface that can be marked with a pen or marker; and once the tape is used it removes cleanly, leaving no residue on the surface behind.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this paper acid free - archival?

A: It is not stated by Epson as acid-free.

Q: 2. what's the difference between bulk and retail packaging?

A: Bulk packaging of Hosa Technology Scribble Strip Console Tape (0.75" x 60 yd, White is used to transport products to a retail location; retail packaging is designed to protect and present the product in the most appealing way, to catch the customer's eye.

Q: 3. How many 8x10's will this print?

A: In an ideal world with no waste at all, 10 ft is 1200 in, 1200/8 would translate into 150 prints. In reality it depends on your printer and the waste introduced before and after each print. For example I print 3 - 8x10 in a row, and my 4880 Epson printer leaves 0.75 inches on each end.So for every 3 8x10s I print, I use 25.5 inches. so 1200 in/25.5, is 47 prints with 3 8x10, in total that would be 141 8x10.And of course this is if you don't have to use some paper to clean you printer head.I hope this helps.

Q: 4. Will this work on the PT-95 currently listed on B&H?

A: Yes, the Brother M Labeling Tape (1/2" x 26.2', Black on White, 2 Rolls) is compatible with the Brother PT-M95 Handheld Label Printer (BH #BRPTM95).

Q: 5. What is the best cloth based tape that is heat resistant and suitable for taping gels to reflectors and grids without being susceptible to the adhesive melting? Is spike tape any different to regular gaffer-type tape on this regard? Is there a gaffers tape that is of higher quality that meets this requirement in a narrow width, 0.5 " or less? Thanks!!

A: Spike tape is just 1/2" tape. Gaff tape is not typically used for high heat. C47 clips are more suitable.

Q: 6. Can this be used instead of glue to replace the leatherette on a camera? Any suggestions?

A: The adhesive on this tape may not be strong enough for your application. Your results may vary.

Q: 7. Can this tape be used in splicing VHS videotape?

A: Yes you can

Q: 8. Would this work with the Epson R3000?

A: This is a 24 wide roll. So no.

Q: 9. What's the difference between bulk packaging and retail packaging?

A: I did take a look at both versions of this. The "Bulk" scribble strip console tape is exactly the same but packaged in only a clear bag. The other has plastic packaging that allows a reseller to hang on a hook in the store and the manufacturer branding on it.

Q: 10. Is this 1" or 2"? The photo looks like 2" but the description says 1". Thanks so much!

A: 1" x 60 yd, White

Very easy to apply and remove. I bought an old dispenser for water activated packing tape to use with this product which makes it very easy to apply. Just put the handle and a measured amount is dispensed and cut off. If you need to un-mount the photo simply wet the tape with a sponge until the adhesive softens. Then it can be removed without leaving any trace adhesive behind.
