Q: 1. How does this attach?

A: this uses a standard nato style attachment. it will attach to a nato rail

Q: 2. If I get it with 'mic & remote cable for apple' does it also come with the clear cable for the headphones? Not sure why they don't release a mic control cable in the clear version.

A: SE425-CL comes with fixed clear cable only. The SE425 kits with control cable comes with an additional black control cable (standard one-button is the CBL-M-K, and the 3-button Apple one is the CBL-M+-K-EFS). Both of these Control/Mic cables are available in Black only.

Q: 3. I see most pictures using the Type VI nato mount attachment for Sony A7S3 cages instead. Is it because the handle is too big or overlaps with the cage because it's too close?

A: Both handles have enough clearance to mount to a NATO rail without any interference with a cage.

Q: 4. Is the accessory cable with integrated mic and in line 3-button remote compatible with iPhone 6 ?

A: The Shure CBL-M+-K-EFS In-Ear Headphone Accessory Cable is compatible with current iOS devices

A: I'm sorry. We do not carry the Se425 without cables. You can try contacting Shure directly.

Q: 7. Does this work with the SE846's?

A: Yes, it does perfectly, also is a good color replacement for the default one.

Q: 8. What exactly is needed to get this on the Tilta Half Cage for A1?

A: To integrate the Tilta Tiltaing Left-Side Wooden Handle (Black) to a cage, you will need to use an articulating arm with a 1/4 20 with locking pins to attach to the handle and cage.

Q: 9. What's the difference between the SE425-CL and the SE425?

A: There are no differences other than the color of the headphones. The SE425 being clear (CL).

This is my second pair of Shures, wore out the first pair after at least one hundred thousand air miles. Also have a pair of Bose QuiteComfort. What I found for me was I was able to sleep better while on 15 hour flights with the Shures, also the sound is much better.

The sound quality is amazing, and the sound isolation is fantastic. Initially, as many have reported, they can be slightly painful, but I believe the material softens up over time, I've had them a few weeks now and they don't hurt at all. I had owned a set of similar Shure earbuds for years, they were great! They had survivied a severe rain storm (I figured that'd be the end of them, but no), and I accidentally ran over the with my motorcycle, yet they kept going strong. Ultimately it was the cord that finally failed, but the ear buds themselves and the speakers inside them still work great. These new earbuds, with the replaceable cord, should last forever. They're well worth they cost in my opinion.

I searched the st looking for a neutral sound, all of the reviews pointed to these and they were right. While not the cheapest, they are one of the most clear sounding ones I have used. The variety of sleeves allow a custom fit without the cost of a custom ear piece. I use the foam and they are great noise blockers along with great outside noise blockers.

So I had a pair of Shure se215 earphones and they sounded great for the price, but not really enough sound for a person like me who likes to listen to there music at high volumes. Then I purchased a pair of Shure se535, they sounded great, but a little too harsh for me so I winded up returning both of them. Then I purchased these, they are just perfect for my listening needs and the bass is also great. I’m very happy I got these and once you get the correct ear tip that fits your ears correctly, you’ll be very satisfied with your purchase.

I really like using these with the foam pads. They fit my ear exceptionally well and block most other sound. Some have commented these a lacking bass. I agree the bass is not dominant, but it is there, and part of very crisp, clear sound.
