Beyond just attaching your Pentax 645-mount lens to your Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera, the Fotodiox Pro TLT ROKR is a sophisticated lens adapter with integrated tilt and shift capabilities. Able to turn your lens into either a perspective control or a creative focusing optic, this adapter has +/- 10mm of shift, for correcting converging lines and adjusting composition, as well as 10° of tilt, for fine-tuning your focus position to either increase depth of field or achieve creative selective focus effects. A 360° rotating mechanism is incorporated into the adapter's design, as well, to permit applying the tilt and shift movements in any orientation required. When zeroed-out, the adapter functions as a simple, manual adapter that maintains infinity focus while requiring manual aperture control, and it features a durable all-metal construction with chrome-plated brass mounts.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are the tilt and shift movements in both vertical and horizontal axes?

A: The tilt and shift movements are both done vertically and horizontally.

Q: 2. Would Canon FD lenses with this adapter still retain useful function when using full tilt/shift functions on a full frame E-mount?

A: This is a manual adapter it does not transmit any signal.

Q: 3. what is the crop factor?

A: The crop factor would be 0.79x.

Q: 4. Could you confirm that this adapter is compatible with Olympus EM5 Mark III? Fotodiox website has a note that this adapter Does NOT fit the E-M5 Mark I/II.

A: The camera dimensions between both EM 5 II and EM 5 III cameras are very similar so I do not believe it will work unfortunately. When tilting and shifting it would hit the top of the camera.

Q: 5. Can the f stop be adjusted, or is it fixed wide open?

A: The aperture on the FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Adapter for Nikon F Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Cameras can be adjusted as there is an aperture ring on the adapter.

Q: 6. What is the maximum vertical shift on a Nikon d-850 before the overhanging prism gets the way and prevents further upward shift?

A: FotodioX does not list for the FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt/Shift Adapter for Pentax 67 Lens to Nikon F-Mount Camera and how much shift can be done when using it with the Nikon D850.

Q: 7. The lens has aperture control. Film lenses are open unless stopped down to shooting aperture. Does this stop the lens down?

A: The FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Pentax 645-Mount Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount GFX Camera cannot control the aperture of the adapted lens. You would need to set the aperture on the lens yourself and use stop down metering.

Q: 8. Will this change the focal length of a lens? or will a 55mm Mamiya lens also be 55mm on the Sony body?

A: The FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Adapter for Mamiya M645 Lens to Sony E Camera does not change the focal length of the lens being used.

Q: 9. How do we know equivalent ff focal length? Such as is a mamiya 645 35mm same as GFX 35mm and thereby equivalent to 28mm?

A: The FotodioX Pro TLT ROKR Tilt-Shift Lens Mount Adapter for Mamiya 645-Mount Lens to Fujifilm G-Mount GFX Camera does not change the focal length of the lens. Note the GFX cameras are not the same size as the Mamiya 645. It is a touch smaller. So the factor is 0.621. Making the 654 35mm lens on the GFX more like a 22mm lens.

Q: 10. Can i use this adapter with a 12mm laowa lens for canon ef?

A: That adapter is for the older Canon FD lenses it will not work with a EF lens. This adapter will let you use a EF lens on a Sony E mount camera. https://bhpho.to/2W5DD1X

This is a part I bought from Fotodiox to match a lens from B&H. It deserves a review. The adapter is beautifully machined, but with this gear your expectations should be reasonable. There are advantages for architecture and limitations.

You can use varied lenses and the part is light and compact, deciding factors for me. It adjusts four ways including aperture. The screw is for tilt!

The amount of shift you can get away with depends on the lens. For example with my 21mm on f.f. as shown s.o.c.. I get 5mm in landscape mode. (Without shift the tree reaches the top of the frame). That is a useful amount to move the horizon, while keeping perspective. Maximum shift is 10mm, better with longer lenses.

O.t.o.h., you cannot tilt in parallel with shift. That happens at right angles. The part pairs to 35mm sensor optics, not medium format. From weight, precision and price pick any two. Regards, C.

I am amazed with this TS adapter. It is far better than the other brand that I have been struggling with.
The TLT ROKR has solid lens mounts on both ends and both movements work fine. I will give them an A+

Using this on FF Sony. Bought this to explore some options for a variety of my older Minolta MF lenses. I am still learning the best ways to use the Tilt function to proper effect. The image circle of many of my Minolta MD glass seems to be large enough to cover all but the most extreme shift functions without vignette. APS-C would have little to no problems. If you have some Minolta MD mount glass left from your manual focus days, I would suggest it.
