The V7850 HDR XPR UHD DLP Home Theater Projector from Acer features 2200 lumens of brightness, with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 provided via XPR technology. The projector has a native aspect ratio of 16:9 and is also compatible with 4:3 aspect ratio. With lens shift, you can re-position and resize the projected image on the screen, without distortion, via a simple control system. Acer DynamicBlack improves image contrast by dynamically adjusting dark scenes to optimal black levels. The H7850 includes two 5W stereo speakers and comes with a remote control and carrying case.

Within the next six months, this projector will be in remote areas of three continents. At times it will be powered by portable generators and projecting images off dirty walls. The 4000 lumen will result in a good image in all difficult situations. The size and weight allows for easy carrying in my backpack along with my MacBook Air and all needed cables. I like the fact that I can connect via USB-C rather than HDMI. Africa here we come. 5

I bought this projector to replace a 1080p Viewsonic projector that I own. Will be using it in the Hometheater room - dark and no light. This projector works really well in that space. I could test 4K videos using the Chromecast with Google TV and the video looks great. No stuttering or troubles displaying 4K. The colours are reproduced well and I'd say black levels are really good. I've tested HDR with the PS4 HDR capability and it looks great. I am waiting to use this with a PS5 - alas I have still not been able to get my hands on one. 5

This projector has been outstanding. It projects a stunning 4k image which rivals projectors at 4 times the cost. The menu is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Outstanding black reproduction and OMG does this projector shine when you are using it in a a room with lots of ambient light. It cuts right through the daylight. I have enjoyed mine for the past year but sadly must part with it since i am moving and my new home will only accommodate an ultra short throw projector. My loss will be a good pre-owned deal for the next owner. I managed to get an outstanding 120 inch picture from this projector ceiling mounted and only 10 feet from the screen. If your considering the PX-701 4K just do it you wont regret it. 5

I bought this about 6 months back and have been using it since then in my Home theater. This is great for ceiling mounting. This replaced my previous Epson 8350. The picture is bright even in the basic cinema mode when there is some outside light coming in. The projector is recognized as native 4K by Roku and any other components connected. First, I tried an Epson 4k model. It had brighter whites, but was not recognized as native 4K, and was huge in size. This projector is just half the size and weight, and has many convenient features and ports. The change from Epson 8350 was seamless, though the mounting hole positions are a bit weird. Overall, a great purchase for the price. 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's hard to write a detailed review against the competition, but I went with this projector since it is like having a LG TV. The fact that I can go between streaming and actual TV made this choice easy. The picture is amazing even in a slightly lit room. With over head lights on in my basement entertainment area, the picture is still great. I love the apps that are able to be downloaded straight to the projector. I would like to see them get more apps available though. The features and settings are all easy to use. I really like the magic remote. The zooming and focusing is super simple and keystone correction works well also. I was able to get this unit on sale so that took some of the sting away from the sticker price. I also bought this unit because in theory it should be the last projector I need for quite sometime. Highly Recommend. 5

This projector's image quality is so close to my Samsung 4k TV, the colors are very accurate, and its color calibrated at the factory.
