The black OP/TECH USA Super Classic Sling is an over-the-shoulder camera strap that can be slung over your left or right shoulder, to support a mirrorless or DSLR camera with large lenses up to 15 lb. Constructed from 0.75"-wide nylon webbing, it has a neoprene pad with a non-skid surface along the interior, so the pad stays secure on your shoulder. The strap is adjustable from 25 to 36" and the Uni-Loop connectors attach directly to your camera's lugs. Your camera attaches to the quick disconnects, so it hangs comfortably at your side and allows you to move freely without obstruction.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this more comfortable than their Envy strap? I will use it around the neck

A: Yes, this neoprene strap is more comfortable than the Envy strap.

Q: 2. what length is the strap - I'm looking for about 48 overall length - this doesnt look very long?

A: This model goes from 37-43 . I would go with the OP/TECH USA Classic Strap. That goes from 25-51 . Link to the Classic Strap: a href= http://bhpho.to/1z8FFrd target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1z8FFrd/a

Q: 3. does it cause problems if the 2 items are different weights? I'd most likely be using it with an slr and attached 200mm lens on one side and small zeiss binoculars on the other.

A: I use a Nikon 850 with a Nikkor 300 lens and a Nikon 300S with a nikkor 55. I think you will be happy with this selection.

Q: 4. what is the weight limit on this strap? will it hold a 2lb camera?

A: According to Op/Tech, the Compact Sling has a load capacity of 2.5 lbs / 1.1 kg.

Q: 5. difference between OP/TECH USA uni-loop and pro loop?

A: Hi! Thanks for your question. The Super Classic-Pro Loop uses a loop connector to attach to your camera; however, the connectors detach from the main body of the strap near the neoprene pad. This means that the connectors are long and can be connected together if desired to form a webbing handle. The Uni Loop version uses a short loop connector which disconnects near the end of the strap so that you only have a very small connector left on the camera when you disconnect the main strap. Some photographers who do a lot of tripod work like the shorter connectors so there isn't much hanging from the camera itself. I hope that this is helpful! Cheers,

Q: 6. I've lost the part that connects to the camera. Can I order a new piece?

A: The product that the OP/TECH team mentioned is the OP/TECH USA Mini QD Loops (1.5mm) (Set of Four), BH #OPSCMQDL. https://bhpho.to/2QjUuti

Q: 7. Does the camera when attached to the sling come out far enough from your body so you can see the rear screen well enough to frame the picture and will the strap allow the camera to come to eye level if you want to use the viewfinder?

A: I find this sling to be very flexible and allow plenty of space to enable one to see the rear screen as well as allow one to use the view finder all while taking the pressure off one's neck.

Q: 8. Will this strap work with a Nikon A1000?

A: The quick connectors on this strap are to large for the strap eyelets on the camera. The OP/TECH USA Mirrorless Strap with Mini QD Connectors (Black) linked here uses thinner quick connectors and will work with the Nikon A1000. https://bhpho.to/3fdcimt

Q: 9. Can you use this as a shoulder strap?

A: I can use it as a shoulder strap butI was surprised that there isn't much length to play with. I am 5'6 and weigh 145lbs. So I'm fairly small framed. I can put it over my head so it goes across my body and swivel it from front to back with it adjusted to full length.

Q: 10. Will this work with a Nikon D7500?

A: Yes, the Super Classic Uni Loop will work with your D7500. If the connection area is tight, you may need to use a piece of heavy thread or dental floss to pull the Uni Loop through the connection point rather than trying to push it through.

Very well made. No complaints.

Grips shoulder nicely and is quite comfortable. I typically carry a camera and lens that weigh about 4 pounds and the weight is nicely distibuted at that level.

This is my second Super Classic strap. I have one on my D300 and love it. When I added a D700 I looked at others and came back to this strap. It has nice padding and does not slip off your shoulder. A great replacement for the factory supply straps.

Maybe I've gotten cynical, but I just usually expect to be disappointed these days. NOT with this strap. I did all the research, it gets great reviews, etc., so I ordered it to see. I cannot believe how comfortable this strap is. I was shocked. I ordered this one for the extra length so I can wear it across the body and have the camera right at my hip. Works perfectly. I attached one side to the battery pack which allows the camera to rest on its side against my hip. No lenses sticking straight out. This is by far the best camera accessory I've ordered in a long time. Possibly ever.

I don't know why I was using the Canon strap for so long before buying this! What a difference this strap makes, especially if using a heavy telephoto lens. Very affordable and comfortable. Definitely recommend this strap instead of the OEM straps.

This strap is comfortable and of good quality. While my old Op/Tech strap was in pretty good shape, I did start to notice a little bit of wear - so.. new camera, new strap. Note that I replaced the strap with the same make and model!

These are a great buy. The strap grips your shoulder really well, the quick release clips mean you can have your body on the tripod in a couple of seconds and not have the strap flapping around. And there is no brand / model nonsense. What's not to like?

I don't know why I waited so long to get this. The strap is very comfortable on my neck compared to the strap that came with my Nikon D90. Works great draped around the neck or over the shoulder. LOVE it!

Was concerned about the way it hooks up to only one side of my camera but got used to it in a hurry.

This appears to be an outstanding strap. The shoulder pad does generally stay on the shoulder, My rig slides up and down the strap easily, and I'm confident it can support heavy equipment. I have a Canon 1D X and a Canon 500mm f/4 II lens. So far, so good.
