A: The Otus Transport Case is currently designed for the Otus 28, 55 and 85 lenses. The fourth opening is for storage of the LensGears that are shipped as part of the Otus 3-Lens Bundle. It is possible to fit the Otus 100 into the opening for the Otus 85.

Q: 2. Can my Sony a7iii with 35mm lens fit? It feels like it’s squishing the top part of the camera.

A: If it's the Sony 35mm 1.4 they will not fit. They also will not fit if you want to leave everything connected, the camera is too tall.

Q: 3. Will this fit my Leica M240 in a Leather half case with 35 Cron ASPH? and the following lenses: 50mm Summicron, 21mm Voigtlander Color Skopar, 85mm Zeiss Tele-Tessar?

A: No. You'll need a larger case to safely secure your gear.

Q: 4. Hey guys! Do you think a Fujifilm XT-1 with battery grip attached (inserted vertically), XF35mm f2.0, XF18mm and possibly an 18-55mm f2.8-4.0 fit in here? Cheers!

A: I think it may be too tight. Get height and length of camera and lens and figure you need about an inch more than that on interior dimensions of the pelican. You may need to go bigger.

Q: 5. Can I fit my d810 and d750 in this box?

A: I'm not a camera person but I'd think about a larger one.

A: I believe the 1200 case is bit to small, you should measure the device & refer to the Pelican case site for dimensions on the next size case !

Q: 7. is there an options for a 100mm otus insert? It fits in fourth space using foam around, but not nearly as stable.

A: There is not option on the ZEISS Otus Transport Case to get foam for the Otus 100mm lens.

Q: 8. Will this fit a Leica M typ 240?

A: I would think so. I use it to store my M2 body, a Voightlander 50mm f/1.5, a Voightlander 35mm 1.4 and a Minolta 40mm f/2 for a CLE.M2 size: 138mm x 77mm x 38.5 vs M240 size: 139mm x 80mm x 42mm.

A: Yes, the A7R and 35mm f/2.8 lens will fit in the Pelican 1200.

Since I've been into photography for quite a while and even though I don't use a Pelican for my photo gear, I've been aware of how good they are. I've just started a business, that is totally mobile and have leased a wireless credit card scanner. This is a very expensive and delicate piece of equipment and needs to be protected with the best case available. The Pelican 1200 is perfect. The right size and the pick and pluck foam of the second layer, really holds it well. I don't have to worry about dust, moisture, or falls. I highly recommend a Pelican for any gear or equipment that needs the best protection available. It's well worth the investment. 5

I purchased 2 of the Pelican 1200 cases: 1 for my wireless microphone equipment and 1 for my Marshall 7 video monitor and a few accessories. The quality and construction are exactly what you'd expect from Pelican - no complaints. When considering which size Pelican case you need, make certain to account for a least on row of foam (approx. 1/3) around the entire interior of the case, these small cases fill up very quickly. 5

It's hard to say something good about pelican, that hasn't already been said! My band-mates and I all chipped in to get two Shure KSM9's (high end live performance microphones), and being the proud owner of several pelican cases it truly never crossed my mind to protect these costly items with anything less.
