The Tiffen 2 x 2" 1 Tobacco Soft-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, brownish-yellow coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 1 color density provides less tobacco coloration than the 2 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 2 x 2" / 50.8 x 50.8mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. anytime using this for video and feel that it's fine without having built in image stabilization?

A: I think so , for video you should use a tripod or monopod ore a gimbal

Q: 2. Is it only manual and auto

A: The Zeiss Milvus 35mm f/2 ZE lens is a manual-focus only lens, but its aperture can be electronically set, either manually (M, Av) or automatically (Tv, P, Auto).

Q: 3. Are the lenses Auto Focus? Do they work good on nikonD500 ?

A: Manual focus only, which is a huge mistake in my opinion. I understand that Nikon and canon both were not open with Zeiss on their auto focus systems. On the other hand, the glass is some the best I have ever seen on a camera lens. and if you have the time to manual focus the shots you take you will not be disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't see many folks getting these lenses because of just that issue alone. especially with all the latest mirrorless camera bodies that have hit the market recently. The auto focus system is the only reason I personally upgraded to a z8 and I think it is fantastic.

Q: 4. Can I use this Canon 135mm lens on my Sony a7rii body ? What is the best lens adapter/converter to use with it,, that will relay info and not degrade picture quality?

A: The ZEISS Milvus ZE lenses were designed for cameras using the EF mount. The lens can be adapted to cameras with a shorter flange focal distance via 3rd party adapters. These do nothing more than position the lens to the proper distance from the sensor so the lens focuses at infinity. There is no degradation in image quality when using adapters of this type, since there are no additional optics involved. Since the Milvus ZE lens uses and electronic aperture, you will need a 3rd party adapter that allows control of the aperture via the camera body.

Q: 5. Can I use an apple iPad charger for this flashlight?

A: Yes you can. The iPad charger has a regular usb female connector, which you can plug in the charging cable that comes with the flashlight.

Q: 6. Do I need an adapter to use this on Nikon Zf? Will it work the same as the manual Voigtlander lenses?

A: To use the ZEISS Milvus 135mm f/2 ZF.2 Lens for Nikon F on the Nikon Zf Mirrorless Camera, you need the Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter, BH #NIFTZ2.

Q: 7. Do i get the distance scale on my evf with the adapter for EOS-R?

A: No distance scale in the EVF will be shown.

Q: 8. I have a Canon 6D, I know there is the EF mount version of the milvus, but I really like the manual aperture nikon mount offers for this lens. If a buy an adapter nikon to EF canon, would the image be affected (In a negative way)? Or it is best going safe with the EF mount version but not having the manual aperture feature? Hope somebody can help, thanks.

A: I adapt Nikon mount lenses to EF mounts all the time without issues. It will not effect image quality at all. I do suggest buying good adapters though so there's no play in the lens mounts.

Q: 9. When is the lens going to be available?

A: The Milvus 2/135 ZE will begin shipping in November .

Q: 10. Does this lens feature a new optical design or is it simply a rehousing of the previous version?

A: The Milvus 2/135 ZF.2 lens uses the same optical design as the Apo Sonnar 2/135 and features an improved anti-reflective coating, a weather sealed barrel and a de-clickable aperture.
