The Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Input Adapter allows you to use the analog gear you already own with your Dante audio network. It provides audio engineers with a cost-effective solution for adapting analog mixers, DI boxes, keyboard instruments, or analog compressors and equalizers, delivering the interoperability, performance, and scalability of Dante network connectivity.

Compact and built for the road, the AVIO is automatically discovered by the network and is ready to use when connected. It features two balanced line-level inputs equipped with XLR connectors and delivers high-quality audio at up to 24-bit/96 kHz with configurable gain and attenuation, low total harmonic distortion, and a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response.

The AVIO supports Dante audio over IP and AES67 RTP transport formats, and is compatible with Dante Domain Manager (DDM).

Please note: requires the use of a network switch with PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) capabilities or the use of an 802.3af-compliant PoE injector device (both available separately).

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the AVOI 1 Input adapter accept a 25 or 70 volt signal direct from a power amp or do you need to adapt it to a line level ?

A: The Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel Analog Input Adapter is used to connect a line level output signal from an analog device to a Dante audio network.

Q: 2. Can the input version and output version of these units be used together as a standalone 2 channel dante system?

A: Yes you can, however you would need a switch as well.

Q: 3. Does this work with clubhouse? i.e. 2x1 BT connected to POE switch onto Comp USB-C output to iPhone with Clubhouse on in addition to recording from said phone

A: I do not see this as a workable solution.

Q: 4. I have three, independent stereo systems in my home, and ethernet ports near each of them. Can I use this equipment so I can play the same music on each of these systems at the same time? I.e. output from one system and input to the other two systems, using each separate pre-amp/power amp (or receiver) to power each separate pair of speakers?

A: No because the Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel Analog Input Adapter for Dante Audio Network is only compatible with other devices that have Dante connectivity.

Q: 5. Can I use Dante AVIO 2-Channle Analog "Input" Adapter to connect legacy analog speakers?

A: This is not the correct Dante adapter to output audio signals from a Dante network into your speakers. Audinate Dante AVIO 2-Channel XLR Analog Output Adapter for Dante Audio Network, BH #AUADPDAOAU2 would be the appropriate Dante adapter. The ouput adapter's male XLR connectors would go into the input of your legacy speakers.

Q: 6. How to find mac address

A: The address of Dante devices such as the Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel XLR Analog Output Adapter for Dante Audio Network can many times be found on the physical unit itself. Alternatively, the device and address could also be located in the Dane Controller. The article linked here provides further insight: https://bit.ly/3hr4rSI

Q: 7. How to find this MAC address

Q: 8. if I have an output and input adapter do I still need some type of Dante management software for them to work or does it just work automatically?

A: The Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel XLR Analog Input and Output Adapters for Dante Audio Network provide plug and play operation. A common PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch is required and the Dante Avio adapters are compatible with Dante Domain Manager software for IT-level security and management. Dante Controller software can be used on any connected Windows or Mac computer in order to adjust audio controls for the Dante AVIO adapters. The software options can be used if desired, but it is not required for the adapters to function.

Q: 9. Will the AVIO 1 Input adapter except a 25 volt or 70 volt audio signal or does it need to be adapted to a line level first?

A: The Audinate Dante AVIO 1-Channel Analog Input Adapter for Dante Audio Network is intended for a balanced, line-level input signal.

Q: 10. Does this AVIO support phantom power for a condenser mic?

A: This device does not support phantom power.
