Presented in a green body with a green grille, the Telefunken M81 Custom Handheld Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone delivers the sonic essence of a condenser in a rugged dynamic design. It features a wide 50 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response and high maximum SPL of 135 dB, making it equally suitable for voice, instruments, or drums onstage and in the studio. Its tonal character is tuned to soften bright or thin sources and yield a stronger emphasis on midrange clarity.

The M81's head and capsule assembly is designed to reduce proximity effect while still providing present bass. Its supercardioid polar pattern provides enhanced off-axis rejection and high immunity to feedback. The M81 also features a custom-wound Telefunken T80 transformer. A: This is not a stereo microphone, it only gives out a mono signal.

Q: 3. Can I use an Iphone 5s with this?

A: You would need something to mate up with the threaded attachment on the stabilizer. I think something like that is available. A word of caution.... I'm not happy with this so-called stabilizer. As far as I'm concerned, it was a waste of my money. I have tried and tried to balance it with the weights and use it, never has performed as I thought it would.

When I started to do some research on a mic with great reviews and this is the best mic. For anyone on a budget and looking to saving money and still getting quality sound

When setting up my home studio for voice over work, I did a lot of research before settling on this mic. The MXL V67G has a big, warm sound that's perfect for commercial work and audiobooks. I also have an EV RE20, but I prefer the V67G hands down. My 'mic snob' VO friends kept trying to talk me out of the V67G, but to my ears the V67G sounds every bit as impressive, responsive, and warm as other more expensive mics. If you're building a home voice over studio from scratch, I highly recommend the MXL V67G as your main, work-horse mic. It doesn't get any better than this. The only cons with the V67G is that the adaptor is a bit flimsy, and the gold mesh is thin and easily bent.

Sadly I have yet to use it, but saying that it is one of the most beautiful microphone's I have ever seen, the washed teal/green/turqoise mix colour is complimented by the gold casing in which you can see a glimps of the marvelous engineering inside of it.

I bought a Tascam DP-24SD reorder and I bought a DVD tutorial on how to use it. The British guy on the DVD highly recommended the V67G. He's right, it's awesome.

Preferred over a half-dozen other quality mics (shure/senn/akg etc) for my vocals. And It's cheaper than all of them!

I have a little home studio which I like to play with once in a while and make some tunes; and, have decided to upgrade my Radio shack dynamic mic. This is my first descent mic so I don't know a great deal. Seems to work very nice with 48v phantom power (required). It picks up very small noises which I like and some I could do without (fans in my PA amp and PC. But I wanted a powerful mic so I could hear exactly what I'm singing (or trying to sing).

Has a nice warm sound to it. I like it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the MXL 990 or MXL 770. I use it mostly for indie music. Got it for $65 cant beat that.

I really love this mic... Beautiful highs, warm sound ...We bought a TASCAM portastudio and in the training video the instructor was singing the praises of this mic. I reseached it and found that it was considered the best mic under $100

First, B&H got this here quickly even in these times, great job.
I watched many online reviews of this before I bought it. The reviews I watched and read were correct, this microphone is amazing for the price. It has extremely little noise and sounds amazing for the price. It supposedly originally retailed for $200 and now is under $100. At that price it's a steal. I'm planning on doing home recordings of my wife and I singing some of my arrangements for fun. I want her to sound good (which she does) and this should bring out her true quality.
This mic did not come with any accessories like some others do, so I have added a pop filter and shock mount which should take it to the next level. Other than that, I can't think of any negatives at this price point.
Recommended.
