The Datavideo HS-1300 6-Channel HD Portable Video Streaming Studio can switch up to six live 1080i or 720p HD video inputs while recording and streaming the program feed. Effectively, this makes the HS-1300 a portable TV studio that you can take anywhere and set up with minimal effort or extra equipment. Four SDI and two HDMI inputs can be connected to cameras or other consumer or professional video sources. Audio can be brought in from a separately available mixing board via a pair of XLR inputs. Recording and streaming uses the ubiquitous H.264 format, at up to 10 Mb/s. A single mix-effect bus features two upstream keyers, two downstream keyers with linear and luma key modes, wipe, cut, and mix transitions, plus one picture-in-picture, and all with full preview. Concert productions, events, houses of worship, and educational institutions with live sports programming are some of the few use cases where the HS-1300 could be useful. When it's time to wrap production, close the 17.3" screen, unplug the video sources, and carry the switcher using the built-in handle, like a suitcase.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. weather resistance? or rain gear?

A: The Datavideo HDBaseT PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom is not weather resistant. There is no dedicated rain cover but a generic rain cover will suffice.

Q: 2. Am I reading correctly that the SE-650 is able to embed auxiliary audio input on the HDMI output, but not on the SDI output?

A: We're not quite clear as to where you were reading that, but according to the manufacturer, audio may be embedded on all digital outputs.

Q: 3. Will the Datavideo DE-650 record each input into a separate MP4 video file?

A: Unfortunately it will not. That is not possible with this switcher. For ISO recording of each input you'd need to look at Software and Computer Based Switching solutions. The Telestream Wirecast Gear 110 is a great option to consider, BH #TEWCGEAR110. https://bhpho.to/2kPYog8

Q: 4. Can I input a browser? I've created a scoreboard, controlled via smartphone, I click +/- on it for scoring, it updates on a website and I can insert it in the LIVE, using it in vMix and Livestream Studio. Can it be done here?

A: This switcher has 2 HDMI inputs which you will be able to use to bring in the video from a computer with an HDMI output. We have a diagram shown on our website that shows a computer connected to the switcher. If the score board program you have offers a white or black background you would be able to key it in. https://bit.ly/2HRABWZ

Q: 5. weather resistance ? Rain gear?

A: This PTZ camera is not weather resistant. You can use a generic rain cover.

Q: 6. Does the mixer have an option to turn on/off HDCP?

A: We're afraid not. This switcher does not offer HDCP controls, you will not be able to connect HDCP compatible products to it. Instead you could look at the Roland V-1HD Portable 4 x HDMI Input Switcher, which allows for HDCP compliance to be enabled. https://bhpho.to/2gRuG3C

Q: 7. Does this camera support PoE or do you need another powersource?

A: This camera does not support PoE it included the needed 12 VDC Power Adapter.

Q: 8. Is this camera compatible with the Shure Microflex Complete Wireless audio mic system?

A: Yes, the Shure Microflex Complete Wireless audio mic system can connect to the Datavideo EZ Streaming Package B2 (White) by using the Shure XCWAPT Access Point Transceiver's XLR output and adapting that to RCA or 1/4" jack audio inputs for the Datavideo SE-500HD 1920 x 1080 4-Channel HDMI Video Switcher.

Q: 9. I see PoE mentioned in the description. Can these cameras be powered, controlled and stream all over ethernet simultaneously?

A: Yes, Datavideo, does state that through the HDBaseT port, "all signals, power, and control data travel through a single CAT6". https://www.datavideo.com/us/product/PTC-140T

Q: 10. Can this be controlled by ptz optics controller?

A: Yes, the Datavideo HD/SD-SDI and HDMI PTZ Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (Black) can be controlled through PTZ Optics controllers through Visca over RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485, like controller PTZOptics PT-JOY-G4 IP/Serial Joystick Controller (4th Generation). Fantastic product. Have even run the microwave on it with no issues. Charges as fast as they say it can. Plenty of outlets to plug stuff into. I have not triggered the breakers so this is a very legit battery backup system! I hope they make a large system to run the whole house one day.

I live off grid in Maine with major appliances (frig, cook stove, water heater) run by propane. Use a small inverter generator (2000 watt) to runs lights, modem and occasional tv. The DELTA 1300 is just awesome. I can run the generator and charge it, maybe once every 3-4 weeks. It'll run the lap top modem and LED desk light for days. I hardly run the generator. I was a big concerned about fan noise but I run it right next to my desk and it is nothing to worry about. I couldn't afford to get the solar panels at the same time but will probably do so in the future. This is an awesome product with the quick recharge one of the best features.
