Been using this with Rollei IR 400 and some frozen expired kodak HIE 4x5 sheet film. Works as advertised. Produces a good IR effect

Very happy with this filter. Takes some post-processing to bring out the images, that is the most challenging part for me but getting better with practice. I use it on a 12mm Rokinon Micro 4/3 lens mounted to an Olympus OM-D E-M10. I find the manual aperture and focus make it much easier to use with the infrared filter than an automatic lens. It also works on the 40-150mm telephoto lens with a 58mm-67mm filter adapter, but with this lens you first need to remove the IR filter, compose the image, attach the filter, increase the exposure time appropriately then take the shot. Even with a stable tripod it can be tricky to do all that without moving the lens somewhat. I use Lightroom and Photoshop to adjust the white balance and reverse the blue/red channels to bring out the dreamy light tones that come out so nicely in infrared photography. Most shots seem to come out best in black and white but a few have come out nicely with some low saturation color. Highly recommend this filter for anyone wanting to try experiment and try something different!

I was hooked after seeing an image taken with an infrared filter. What an effect! Try it,... you'll like it.

For use with a non-converted camera, these filters do an acceptable job. Most IR photographers recommend doing a full-spectrum conversion and use filters accordingly. However, I am not yet ready to make that step and am using the filters on a regular DSLR with success.

I used to shoot IR film years ago and loved it. I have wanted to convert a digital camera to IR but haven't been able to just yet.. This filter works well on my Sony A7Rii for now at a much more economical price. It doesn't replace an IR conversion, but it goes a long way.

...you can see right through this filter. That's all I needed, this will work perfectly to protect the front element of my lens. Sweet, simple, does the job!
