Q: 1. I see this comes with alkaline batteries. We are interested also in purchasing the CHG3512-Charger. I was wondering what batteries work with this charging station?

A: You can use any NiMH AA batteries such as these: a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/823940-REG/Watson_aa_nm2300_AA_NiMH_Rechargeable_Batteries.html target= _blank http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/823940-REG/Watson_aa_nm2300_AA_NiMH_Rechargeable_Batteries.html/a

Q: 2. Can this be used to travel I plan on being on a ship I do have hearing aids but lots of back ground noise can anyone help me?

A: Travel with this kit is easy. Every thing is together in one portable case. The alkaline battery selection gives you twice the hours as the rechargeable type and there is no charger to transport. AA batteries are available everywhere. I use the MIC 014 omni-directional microphone and place the transmitter in the center of the room or table. Everyone is facing the unit and clarity is enhanced over my hearing aids. With the MIC 014 range is decreased to about 25 ft radius but adequate for a large room.

Q: 3. Can two of the transmitters be used in the same room with different languages?

A: It is a single channel system that cannot permit a second audio source.

Q: 4. Are these earphones very durable? How long do they last for?

A: Several years

Q: 8. what is a 3.5 mm in inches need 1/4 inch ?

A: 3.5 mm equals 0.137795 . This jack is smaller than a 1/4 inch jack but you can buy an adapter to size it up to 1/4 inch. This a mono jack rather than a stereo jack.

Q: 9. How many head sets are in one pack

A: The one set you see pictured, and it actually connects to the receiver by a wire, which is not pictured, to the headphone jack.

Q: 10. How many headset can be run off (connected) to a single transmitter?

We have about 20 of these and they have lasted a few years so far. Just bought replacement ear pads but the headphones work well.

These mono headphones fit comfortable on any age person and can be worn with the bail on top of the head in front or in back. When the accessory foam ear phone covers are used they are very comfortable. The sound quality is very good. Recommeded.

Our church has been using a hearing assist system for several years and we recently reviewed the usage and knew some people were not using the system when they should be. We purchased some HED021 headphones from B&H a little more than a month ago. Several regular users tried the headphones and said they liked the system before but found the headphones delivered even better sound. This has caused some members to try the system for the first time. We also bought some EAR022 over ear units which some like to use with their hearing aids. Now more of our senior members are hearing all of the spoken word and music keeping us from turning up the volume on the speakers to an unbearable level for many of our other members.
