Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with an Olympus G. Zuiko Auto-S lens going to a Fujifilm S5Pro with the Nikon F mount? Will auto focus work?

A: Yes, the FotodioX Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Olympus OM Lens to Nikon F Mount Camera will work with the Olympus G. Zuiko Auto-S lens going to the Fujifilm S5Pro with a Nikon F mount, but this is a manual focus adapter that maintains infinity focus, so autofocus will not work.

Q: 2. HiDoes this adapter provides infinity focus with the lens RE. Auto-Topcor 1:1.4 f= 58mm ?

A: Yes, the FotodioX Exakta, Auto Topcon Lens to Canon EOS EF Camera Adapter allows infinity focus.

Q: 3. Will this work on a M10 mark III?

A: No, this is a 4/3 adapter and not a micro 4/3 adapter. Please click the link below to view the correct adapter; https://bhpho.to/37BQyeH

Q: 4. What process is necessary for focusing the lens? Should you open the Aperture wide open for focus and then manually stop down prior to expose?

A: that's right you open the Aperture wide for you to be able to see better for focus and then you stop down for exposure and depth

Q: 5. I have a Z7 II camera. Will the flange distance work out correctly if I mount this adapter to a Canon EF-Nikon Z adapter?

A: When using this adapter on a Canon EF-mount to Nikon Z adapter, the flange distance would be the same as one gets when using this adapter directly on a Canon camera. So it will perform equally well on your Nikon Z7 II Mirrorless Camera as it would perform on a Canon EF-Mount camera. However, I would suggest using a different setup. The FotodioX uses an optical element to compensate for the flange distance difference of the Canon EF-Mount. With the Z7 II this optical element is not necessary and a direct adapter such as the KIPON Lens Mount Adapter for Exakta-Mount Lens to Nikon Z-Mount Camera would be a better option, BH #KIEXAKTANIKZ (https://bhpho.to/3uC9oiG). With the Kipon one is not adding an optical element into the mix, and so the lens can perform as it was originally designed to perform.

Q: 6. Will this adapter work on the fuji xt-3? I believe I may have purchased the wrong adapter.

A: Yes it should. This allows you to mount Exakta/Topcon mount lens to a Fujifilm X-mount camera. The X-T3 is an X-Mount Camera.

Q: 7. Hi, I have an old Olympus OM f35-210mm, does this adapter allowed me to use it on my Nikon D5200?thanks.

A: I don't know for Nikon 5200 but for my D300 and D7000 both work well with Olympus OM lens on this adapter. D5200 got the same Nikon mount so should work.

Q: 8. Will this adaptor work with Nikon D5200 camera?

A: I bought this adapter to use with my d7000. It was totally useless with very poor optics. Only some olympus lenses work with it as well. I tried tub use my 50mm 1.4 and 35mm olympus lens - one of them has a metal tab which does not allow connection to the adapter. But again optic quality not worth the trouble with very soft (out of focus) areas outside the centre of the frame. Hope this is helpful - you should try before you buy.

Q: 9. When using this adapter wit a Topcon lens on a Sony a7iii, do you have to use a separate light meter to set your exposure or will the camera’s built in meter work?

A: As you turn the aperture ring on the Topcon lens, you will see the exposure get lighter or dark. The same would apply when changing the shutter speed in the camera. The camera would need to be set to "Shoot w/o lens" and would need to be used in manual exposure mode.

Q: 10. I have a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 f/2 58mm Exakta Mount and I want to mount it to my Canon EOS 70D. Will this work?

A: The FotodioX Pro Slim Mount Adapter for Exakta Lens to Canon EOS Camera will work on the Canon EOS 70d. Regarding your Zeiss lens, the lens's shutter button arm needs to be level from its tip to where it meets the lens. If the arm has a step that makes the area where it meets the lens higher than its point of maximum extension, then the lens in will not be able to fit on this adapter.
