Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can i attached this with my kit lens which is 16-50mm lens a5100 model

A: You can with a step up ring. you will need to step up your lens from 40.5mm-52mm. Click the link below to view the stepup ring; https://bhpho.to/3gdijgO

Q: 2. Does the inside of the lens collect a lot of dust when it is mounted backwards?

A: The best way to prevent any dust from entering the lens when mounted in reverse is to use the rear lens cap included with the lens.

Q: 3. This thing need anything else I need to do macro photography? or this is all I need?

A: If your lens has a front filter thread of 52mm, then it will work fine, no other parts needed. A 50mm focal length lens is ideal.

Q: 4. I have 18-135mm and 50mm lens on canon90d. Will this work or any suggestions is appreciated.

A: Yes, it will work, you just have to match the filter size. If your lenses are not the same filter size, you will need to get a step down ring to use with your lenses. For example a 58-52mm step down ring.

Q: 5. does this adapter have glass in it?

A: No, just a ring.

Q: 6. Will this work also with a dx Nikon? For a 50mm lens?

A: Yes the FotodioX 49mm Reverse Mount Macro Adapter Ring for Nikon F-Mount Cameras can be used on a Nikon crop sensor DSLR camera. The camera will only work in manual or aperture priority mode depending on the camera model.

Q: 7. The same question : ¿ can I reverse the 55 mm 18-55 kit lens of mu nikon d5600 whit this reverse ring ?

A: Yes. You can reverse the 18-55mm kit lens with this reverse ring.

Q: 8. This can be used in nikon 50 mm 1.8 lens right??

A: It depends on the 50mm f/1.8. The G series lenses will work but you won't have any control over the aperture. If you use the 50mm f/1.8 that's a D series lens (the one that's pictured) it's a 52mm not a 58mm filter thread. So you'd need this size: https://bhpho.to/2WuzOVJ

Q: 9. I’m new to cameras and still learning. But would this work with a canon t7i with the 18-55mm lens?

A: For the EF-S 18-5mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens which is included with the Canon Rebel T7i, the FotodioX 58mm Reverse Mount Macro Adapter Ring for Canon EF-Mount Cameras, B&H # FOREVE8MMEOS would be more appropriate. https://bhpho.to/377t6oI

Q: 10. I have 18-135mm and 55mm canon lens on my canon90d. Will this work or any suggestions is appreciated.

A: You have to match up the filter thread of the reversing ring with your lens. The lenses you have are possibly 52mm, 58mm or 67mm, you have to check your lenses. You then may have to get step up or step down rings if the standard reversing ring doesn't match your filter threads.

Works exactly as advertised and fun. I bought this because it's August in Tucson and way too hot to do outdoor anything. This kept me entertained indoors. I also purchased the macro extension set ($9) and it's great too, coupled with the reverse ring.

I bought this as an inexpensive way to convert my nifty 50mm Prime lens into a Macro Lens. While not a true Macro, it sure makes a very good facsimile. The images are clear and sharp and expanding my Creativity. When I add it to my 24mm Prime, the Images are unbelievably large! I can't wait until my Roses bloom and the bees return.

I like most Fotodiox products as they are usually made of metal & not plastic as some other brands.
