The Monopod has a very useful carabiner type clip at just the right place so you can anchor it on a belt or back pack strap while running, climbing or moving. The monopod adjusting clips open and close easily and hold position. I was happy to find 2 site levels on the TBH-40. They're built in so you can't easily break them. The ball head gives you near infinite flexibility. I'm enjoying my Monopod and think you will too. 5
