Turning on Data Extend mode allows the 30W port to transmit power to devices such as security cameras at up to 656' away with a 10 Mb/s transfer speed.

Ports can be isolated from each other using the DIP switches, helping to prevent camera multicast or broadcast storms form affecting each other.

Activating this DIP switch ensures that video and voice traffic gets first priority on the the network.

Simply connect an Ethernet cable or PoE-enabled device to the ES-1008P V2 and you're ready to go. The ports are able to automatically detect whether IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet-compliant devices are connected.

This PoE+ switch works as advertised. The PoE+ functionality is solid. This model lets you increase the total PoE+ budget by using the Netgear 130W power supply instead of the supplied 90W unit.

We bought this Netgear switch to replace an old Fast Ethernet unit - also a Netgear. Great B&H price, pretty much plug & play installation. Netgear has an active and helpful online presence if you ever need tech support. as well. I've never worn out any Netgear equipment!

Great price for excellent quality 8-POE-ports Ggigabit switch. I have 5 POE security cameras and 3 data lines planned for it; 2 cameras and 2 data lines in service so far with great results. Doubt I'll ever need it, but power budget can be increased by buying a new power supply and flipping a switch.
