A: Yes, the Sony UTX-B40 wireless bodypack transmitter does have IR sync capability for use with the URX-P03D, URX-P03, and URX-S03D receivers

Q: 2. Is there a compatible 3.5mm male to TA3 female cable for this?

A: No there is not.

Q: 3. Can you use this with a SRa receiver

A: So long as your SRa receiver has the same frequency ranges as the LMb transmitter, the LMb transmitter will work with an SRa receiver.

Q: 4. Can I use two body pack transmitters with this system?

A: Yes you can: Users can select up to 1200 frequencies across the 30MHz tuning range. This also allows for operation of up to 20 channels simultaneously within the same frequency band or up to 48 channels in multiple bands.

Q: 5. Could these, along with the DCHR, be used as another set of talent wireless sets to be plugged into a mixer/recorder?

A: The Lectrosonics DCHT Wireless Digital Camera Hop Transmitter can be used together with the Lectrosonics DCHR Camera-Mount Miniature Digital Camera Hop Wireless Receiver as a wireless IFB system to send audio from a mixer/recorder.

Q: 6. Is this transmitter compatible with the receiver that comes with the Sony PXW-X400 camera? DE-15/DB-15 (Wireless Receiver)

A: The Sony UTX-B40 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with Omni Lavalier Mic is only compatible with UWP series receivers operating on the same frequency range.

Q: 7. Does this unit only provide limited frequency spectrum (15 Hz to 11.3 kHz)? I would like to use this as a compact IEM wireless solution but am concerned I wouldn't be able to hear my mix with fidelity after investing so much in this kit. I almost ordered this before catching the limited spec as there are no other body pack-sized (transmitter) solutions on the pro market for wireless IEM. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

A: The DCHT, like the M2T rack unit, provides 20 - 12 kHz audio frequency response with the M2R receiver. Although on paper that appears quite limited, the impression upon listening to it is that everything is there. By far most of the energy in a mix is between 50 Hz and 10 kHz, with harmonics extending above that. I would suggest giving it a listen and decide for yourself. If you have already used the M2T and M2R combination, then you are hearing the same thing you would hear with the DCHT and M2R.

Q: 8. Will two of these work with the URX-P03D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 9. Can I pair with Senheisser MKE2?

A: I'm sorry, but Sennheiser does not make a version of the MKE2 with the correct wiring for this transmitter.

Q: 10. What is the effective range of the LMB B1 Transmitter? By range I mean distance between transmitter and receiver not frequency range.

A: The operating distance for the Lectrosonics LMb Bodypack Wireless Transmitter and a compatible wireless receiver is approximately 328 feet line of sight.

Ordered the accessory kit. I also ordered the extra container to put all the stuff. Little did I know it came with it. No problem because the $10 is a good price for the extra box. Godox makes good product at half the price of Canon.

I bought this to simplify my setup for audio and video recording and Zoom sessions. It has all the fine qualities of a studio condenser mic with respect to sensitivity and sound quality. It's easily detached from its base and mounts on a standard mic stand. With a USB-C to USB-C cable, it plugs directly into a USB-C port on my MacBook Pro and works with all applications. Its onboard gain control provides great flexibility, not to mention its 4 alternative coverage patterns.

I recently purchased this AKG Lyra to upgrade from my phone's internal mics for my podcast. Having a true cardiod mic is nice, as I'm now dealing with a lot less echo than before, and it does a much better job controlling plosives and breath noise. Literally my only complaint is that I'm still experimenting with positioning and mounting surfaces to make sure I'm getting everything I can out of it. But I like the sound of my podcast much better now!

Purchased because of multidirectional array. Professors and classmates on zoom meetings immediately noticed and complimented the difference in audio quality. Clients loved it too. This a MILC & video capture card used as webcam gave me the best first impression in an interview since shelter-in-place

I was torn between this AKG Lyra and the Blue Yeti X - after reading a bunch of reviews, they both seemed like great options with roughly comparable features - multiple pickup patterns, on-mic mute buttons, volume & gain dials, etc. The sound samples I heard from the Lyra sounded a little bit more transparent to me than the Yeti X, but I wasn't able to do my own test of this, and I can't say the difference I heard was necessarily enough on its own to guide the decision between these two great mics. I did like the advantage on the Blue Yeti X of the visible level indicator, but in the end, I liked the look of the Lyra better enough to push it over the top for me.

I noticed that AKG didn't offer a shockmount for the Lyra, and B+H didn't list any shockmounts in the recommended accessories, so I wondered if the Lyra's mount might actually have a little bit of shock absorption built in. (If it *did*, maybe I could save a little money and not buy a shockmount? I was planning on putting it on a boom arm anyway, and didn't plan on using the table mount.) But alas, that was an unrealistic dream.
The Lyra's table stand is, of course, just like any other mic's table stand - it transfers plenty of noise from the hum of my desktop computer, typing on my keyboard, and all those kinds of things. But the Lyra's U-shaped tilting mount doesn't in fact absorb any handling noise, so putting it on a boom arm didn't dampen any of that either.
Fortunately, the BLUE RADIUS III shockmount fits the AKG Lyra perfectly and works great, so I'd strongly recommend getting one of those if you're thinking about getting the Lyra. It's a lovely, great sounding mic, so I do highly recommend it (with the shockmount). I'd also recommend that AKG get their act together and make a shockmount of their own for the Lyra!

B&H rocks! I had an original order that was on back order and when it wasn't going to arrive they suggested this item and it turns out the client loved them more. These were an event gift and a total success...thank you!
