The beige d:fine Core 4066 Omnidirectional Miniature Mic Boom with TA4F Connector from DPA is a replacement microphone boom with cable for the d:fine headset (sold separately). Designed for theater and broadcast applications, the Core 4066 amplifier technology delivers a 14 dB increase in both THD (total harmonic distortion) and dynamic range than the Legacy 4066 model. The Core 4066 features a double vent protection system that works in tandem with a drop stopper and water-resistant materials in the mic, which help prevent damage from humidity. A headset is required.

This thing is a tank. I was looking for a desk stand for my Rode NT1 microphone and was worried about the weight tipping it over. With the extra counter balance and heavier stand, this stand holds it perfectly. I can extend it all the way out. Very sturdy and well made. I would highly recommend. 5

I thought the factory windshield was pretty good, but this is what you need for outdoors. The build quality is top notch, right up there rycote. I am new to deity and I love their products. I have these furrys on all my mics and this one is no different. You wanna sound pro outside get this, for the price your clients and projects will pay you back 1000 fold. 5

I do voice-over narration of multimedia educational modules captured with Camtasia. I've used Yeti's little sister, Snowball, but it's nothing like Yeti, which is such a beautiful artifact I like to just look at and touch it. It records flawlessly in a noisy environment, and I need to do hardly any tweaks in Audacity. I am amazed at so much quality for such a reasonab;e price. 5

I use it as a desktop mic stand. It has a good heavy base and the boom arm is sturdy enough. I leave the rotating joint loose so I can just swing the mic out of the way when not needed. So much better than the old vertical desktop mic stand I used to use, which was always in the way. Not that cheap but I am very happy with it. 5
