The Dimmer20 with V-Mount Battery Plate from Aladdin combines controls and a power source for the fixture. The Dimmer20 controls light intensity from 0.5 to 100% and is rated for 200W of output power. Settings are visible on the unit's large 5.0 x 2.5" OLED display. The dimmer supports both wired and wireless DMX via DMX512 protocol or LumenRadio. The Dimmer20 can run on AC power via a separately purchased adapter or on optional 26V batteries via its V-mount battery plate. It is compatible with Fabric-Lite 200W, Bi-Flex2/4, and Bi-Fabric2 lights.

A: The SmallRig V-Mount Battery Plate can work with many brands of batteries. As long as the battery is around 14.8 VDC and can handle at least a maximum load of 12 amps.

A: The SmallRig V-Mount Battery Plate is D-tap not XLR. It comes with a D-tap to 3 pin XLR adapter cable. The clamp will work with 1 inch stands.

Q: 9. Does the screws come with this plate now? I can see one previous customer that didn't receive any. I'm in Europe and don't want to search around for the right imperial screws to be able to mount 2 pieces of Aladdin hardware together.

A: Yes, it comes with the screws in the kit.

Q: 10. Can I also charge a V mount battery with the Dtap connection or is it only OUT?

i am glad i opted for the Tilta plate. the quality is top notch, per normal for Tilta. i end up using another rig over the weekend with a different brand plate. and not a cheap one. it was picky as all get out about batteries, with many being difficult to lock in or completely unable to do so. the Tilta has easily interfaced with every battery i have dropped on it. yah i know, i should stick to one battery brand but it just aint happening. 5

You can mount this in two positions by moving the bracket, but it is not really adjustable. This is fine for me though. Some of the adjustable options in this price point look like they aren't super robust. 5
