A: We would say both the BMD and the CAME-TV accessories are comparable products that most people seem comfortable to use. The negative reviews would appear to come from personal taste or user error. The BMD accessory kit has a 30 day return and the CAME-TV kit is not returnable, exchange for defects only.

Q: 3. Will this work with the Canon Rebel series? I know I would need to get a different dummy battery. I have a Rebel T6i.

A: We're afraid not. This product is designed specifically for the a7 II series of cameras. It will not work with the Rebel T6i, not only because of the battery connection but also because this system is meant to turn a Clean HDMI Output to SDI and the T6i does not offer a Clean HDMI output.

Q: 4. Does this Dummy Battery Cable work on the Sony a7R MKIII Camera?

A: No. The Mk III takes a different battery type.

A: You can attach your quick release plates on the bottom of this cage. You get the top handle and 2X side handles.

Q: 7. if I breakdown the handles, will I be able to use on a ronin m? Will i have clearance from all the motors? or will I need to break the camera down fully before mounting to ronin?

A: We are unable to measure this. Therefore it is our opinion that it would fit. However, for the sake of the operation of the Ronin, you may prefer no cage on the camera.

Q: 8. Similar question, how will this work with the Panasonic EVA-1? Looks like an okay fit.

A: While the bottom plate will probably fit, the other parts, the top handle and the handgrip arm will not fit at all. The BMD handgrip attaches via an Arri rosette while the EVA-1 grip has a proprietary bayonet. You could consider this Came-TV base.
