This scanner works great. It's quiet and fast. Easy to set up and use. I am scanning to a NAS with no problems. I was lucky and got it on sale for $100 off. Look for special promos.

I've had countless document scanners and currently have two slide scanners, one which I use only for negatives. The Epson FastFoto FF-680W is better than all of them. If you want to scan stacks of prints it's hard to imagine anything better. It's fast, reliable, produces more than adequate quality and not outrageously expensive. I wish my more expensive slide scanner worked nearly as well.

We have well over 1000 old family photos to scan. Original plan was to do several at a time using a flatbed scanner. Best scan quality, but would take forever! So we purchased this, it’s wonderful! If there are a few photos that want higher resolution, we can certainly do that later. Scanning color photos was quick and efficient, set to automatically save the original and color corrected versions, and also back side if there was any writing! The SuperSpeed USB interface certainly helped. Scanning old curled B&W photos had occasional jams because they were much thinner, but it quickly and easily recovers without damage to the photo. We had a dozen very badly curled 5x7 B&W photos, I thought I might need the flatbed, but they scanned perfectly when fed one at a time! We also have many assorted documents, scanned to PDFs. It can scan multiple batches (single or double sided) into a single PDF. It provides review where pages can be rearranged, rotated, edited, or deleted before the PDF is created, very nice! Store receipts are very thin and need to be fed one at a time, but it handles mixed sizes nicely. The file naming conventions are a little quirky, but after some investigation it is more flexible than it seemed at first. Out of a large shoebox full of photos, only one couldn’t scan- a greeting card with attached photo was too thick. Did I say wonderful?

This scanner the impossible possible. With thousands of photos in albums the notion of bringing all those family treasures into the digital realm was daunting to say the least. The 660 flies through piles of prints in a flash even at 600 line resolution and produces excellent image quality. We are up to 18,000 scans and counting. Couldn't have done it without the 660.

This is the fastest photo scanner and has good quality and excellent software. I have scanned over 5000 photos and so far it is great.

I just got my Epson FastFoto Scanner yesterday & I couldn't wait to use it. The install was super easy. I used it for the first time today and it is awesome! Super fast and easy to organize your photos onto your computer. I can't wait to continue with my big project of scanning my thousands of pictures i have accumulated over the last 50 years for the future enjoyment of my family to be able to view all these photographs digitally. I love it! I would recommend it to anyone and I've only used it for one day! I'm a happy customer.

This has made scanning breeze. All photos came out great. Just a few thousand more to go!

An amazing product - easy to set up with the directions and downloading the app. Works fast and color corrects old photos. Very pleased. Have forwarded some files to children. One said "These are treasures".

Having been given an archive of family and extended families photos, notes, albums and documents I didn't know where to begin. Over the years these all sat in totes for the day I had some downtime. This product gave me the best gift I could have asked for...Time. Within 5 days of getting this product I was able to scan and archive 3000+ photos of various formats along with innumerable documents and handwritten letters and notes. I found the operation and ease of use amazing. This product is fast so fast that you have to be ready when pressing the scan button. The items come out at a rapid pace so make sure you are on hand to remove from the tray. It says to only load 36 images at a time but I was able to prep 100 photos at a time to keep it churning out scans in lieu with its fast speed. The auto correct feature also was great at saving faded colors and even fixing incorrect white balance issues. Right now I'm currently working on scanning all of my business documents as well so I can archive and get rid of paper copies overflowing my filing system. 10/10 would buy again!!!

Makes fast work of scanning photos. Deals with different sizes without issue.
