The 10 x 59" Ezybox Pro Strip Softbox from Manfrotto is an ideal shape for edge lighting, to separate your subject from the background or for use overhead on a boom for hair-lighting a group. The softbox employs a RapidExoframe exterior support system to which it clips onto very quickly. The frame breaks down to several small, easily transportable sections. The Ezybox Pro Strip has a removable front diffuser as well as a removable inner diffuser for an extra soft light quality. A fabric grid is included by Manfrotto to narrow the softbox's beam spread and to allow directional control and selective lighting. Adapters are available for Bron, Bowens, Elinchrom, Balcar, and Profoto lights and are required for use.

A: The Ezybox II bracket is great for umbrellas, Apollo SoftBoxes as well as the switchbox for one OR two flashes! It has 2- slide-in cold shoes (or mount one in center) but no 1/4 x 20 male mount. I use an AD-360 that will mount by either a 1/4 x 20 or a cold shoe. If the Q-flash needs the threaded 1/4 mount you'd need that. The flash lays so close to umbrella's center it gives even illumination, and parabolic umbrellas up it 7' (84 - silver with diffuser cap) are light weight, cheap, quick setup, round catch lights and compact (centered on light stand instead of sticking out from it) .. compaired to a large switch box , twice as big equals 4x the softness ! You can stand in front with camera and it'll put fill light around BOTH sides of camera!! I have 2 Ezybox II brackets and plan on getting one more.Alan

A: The short answer is Yes. I use a Phottix Mitros flash with a Phottix Odin receiver AND a Sony ADP AMA shoe to multi adapter in between the two. The sliding adjustment plate/track is all the way out when I use this set up, but it works.
