Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this light remember the last color if unplugged? Can it be turned on/off with a light switch tied to a half-hot outlet?

A: The American DJ H2O IR 12W LED Simulated Water-Flowing Effect does not have a memory feature to recall settings when it is turned off. The user manual does not mention using a light switch for On/Off control.

Q: 2. If I want to have one tube blue and the other red, can a single remote accomplish that? If so how?

A: Any number of fixtures can be independently controlled and set to just about any color. A detailed PDF of the manual is waiting for at this link- https://astera-led.com/Downloads/AsteraApp%20control.pdf

Q: 3. What is the minimum sized relector that can be held between the two clamps? I have Westcott's 30-inch Illuminator series (6 in 1). Their non-extreme version mentions it can work with the 30-inch units, but this unit doesn't (also checked their web site). For just one dollar more than their other version, hoping this can work since it seems more versatile. Thanks.

A: The clamps can be set at about 9 apart at a minimum.

Q: 4. Is the zoom on this camera electronically controlable or fixed at time of installation?

A: The Axis Communications P3268-LVE 8MP Outdoor Network Dome Camera with Night Vision & 4.3-8.6mm Lens BH #AXP3268LVE offers a user controllable varifocal lens.

Q: 5. Will the Westcott Illuminator Arm Extreme fit a Promaster Deluxe Light Stand LS-2n?

A: Yes, the ball-joint mount will fit any 5/8" standard dia. light stand shaft, which the Promaster has. It does not attach to the threaded stud, but slips over it and is secured by a setscrew on the collar.

Q: 6. How is the arm attached to a stand? Does it come with something? I can't figure it out from the photo.

A: It has a little knob that fits on top of a normal light stand.

Q: 7. Is the rubber wrapped around the clamp?

A: Yes.

Q: 8. What is the purpose/use for the end opposite of the one with the standard 5/8" spigot?

A: It can be used for some devices that use a 3/8 stud.

Q: 9. Does it come with the batteries?

A: yes it does.

Q: 10. What‘s the min angle this camera needs to pickup license plates to id cars that stop in front of house.

A: The Axis Communications Q1700-LE 2MP Outdoor Network Bullet License Plate Camera has an 18-137 mm optical zoom lens or 8x optical zoom. It can zoom in, but as you zoom in, the FOV will decrease and narrow. Lens 18–137 mm, F2.9–4.0 Horizontal field of view: 16°–2.3° Vertical field of view: 9.6°–1.3° Installation focus, auto-iris, automatic day/night Thread for 62 mm filters, max filter thickness: 5 mm Specs- https://bhpho.to/3zvblTE
