A: This is an amazing lens for landscape and street photography. I personally own this lens and it's one of my sharpest lenses. It's also phenomenal for video.

A: it extends about an inch while zooming out (16MM). When zoomed in (35MM) it is in it's shortest length.

A: Hi Aj, the FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens will have a moderate pincushion distortion at 35mm but this can be easily fixed in using post processing software.

Must have lens - versatile and powerful. Great for low light and bright situations. Very sharp focus and narrow depth of field make for beautiful composition both at close range and at a distance. Very fast and reliable autofocus. Love the ability to get really close to objects too and have the autofocus kick in. Focus hold button is perfectly placed. It took some time to convince myself to pull the trigger because of the price but I am glad I final bit the bullet. 5

This is the lens I chose to pair with my new A7RIII. It is amazing! Took it with me to Horshoebend, Death Valley, Brian's Head and it is tack sharp throughout the aperture range. Also took some pictures of the night sky and that wide angle at f2.8 is just woooow! Highly recommend this lens if you like shooting in this focal range. Just need an 85mm and my two lens kit would be complete. 5

Bought this lens to replace my 12-24. And boy no comparison. Smooth smooth operation. Fast fast autofocus. Pictures out of this world . Could not be happier. Looking to replace my 24 -240. But not there yet. This wide angle and my Macro are my go to lenses 5

I went back and forth between this lens and the less expensive f4 zoom and have to say, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. It feels great on my a7iii and the pictures are outstanding! I am just getting into Astro photography and this lens is perfect for that! I am not a pro but believe I will be able to grow and learn a ton with this lens for many years to come...its expensive but if you can afford it...I highly recommend! 5
