The J-Box is designed to power your camera while also powering items like a monitor, smartphone, or lights, and when plugged into an AC outlet with the included AC adapter, you can remove the battery safely without powering down your camera. The J-Box has a V-mount battery plate, and on the side there are four power outputs: one 20W, 5V/4A, one 40W, 8V/5A, one 60W, 12V/5A, and one D-Tap 100W, 16.8V/6A. On top there's a 5V/4A USB Type-A port to power your smartphone or USB accessory. You can power multiple items simultaneously with up to 100W of total power consumption. There are also threaded holes on the back of the plate for mounting options.

The charger comes with a cable connector to power your Panasonic EVA1 or Sony FS7, FS7M2, FS5, or FS5M2 camera, a 15mm rod mount to use with your 15mm LWS rod system, a removable Delta plate, and an Allen wrench and screws for mounting your gear.

I dont know the exact weight of the unit yet, you will be able to find more details on our website soon. We provide you with a 1 year warranty on the product since its an eceltrical device. On all CNC items we provide a life time warranty. A: Hello BamkThank you for your question! The small battery you see in the picture is actually a dummy battery cable designed to power the Sony A7 series camera. The package comes with the appropriate cables to plug it in our D-box system. You can certainly add a regular size V-mount battery at the back of the D-box, or even a higher size one like the one you're suggesting. Does this plate work as an uninterrupted power supply - i.e. If both v-mount battery and AC/power are connected, I can disconnect either and it will switch to the other uninterrupted? Also are you able to charge a v-mount battery while also suppling power to the camera rig? Lastly can you use the plate without a v-mount battery and just run off AC power adapter? Thanks.

A: The SHAPE J-Box Camera Power & Charger's plate functions as an uninterrupted power supply. Since the main power supply is routed to the J-Box, unplugging the J-Box from the camera will turn the camera off; unplugging the AC adapter but leaving the J-Box with a V-mount battery connected to the camera will continue to power the camera. You are not able to charge a V-mount battery while also supplying power to the camera rig. Yes, you can use the J-Box without having a V-mount battery and just run off the AC power adapter.

A: The SHAPE Shoulder Mount Kit for Sony FS5/FS5M2 (BH #SHFS5SM • MFR #FS5SM) does not include an extension arm to attach the zoom controller but you can get the separately available SHAPE Remote Extension Handle for Sony FS5/FS5M2 Camera (BH #SHFS5RH • MFR #FS5RH) and attach it to the right side of the shoulder mount by removing one of the rubber hand grips.
