I also assume that it is a fairly short leg with only one screw mount in it.Now, if you are looking for the aesthetic point of view you might be considering an ARCA plate with same length like your lens leg, but if you want to be able to play with the balance fo the camera + Lens in the gimble, I recommend you to buy a little longer plate. This will allow you to slide the plate on the gimple to find the balance position . A balance position is a position where the camera mounted on the gimble is staying balanced hands free . I know it doesn't sounds like a big deal but believe me it is more than just a nice to have .Another important point is that the plate will have the limiters both sides. Those limiters are small screws that are stopping the plate to slide off the gimble (look at the gimble image - where you put the plate - it has like two canals, one in each side).Now the next question is which plate brand should you buy. for this I have no sharp answer.
